This is a LOT of wire for a very reasonable price. If you buy picturing framing kits with wire and hangers and all that, youll spend a lot. I buy all parts separately, in bulk. This wire is coated, which I like.

Very good wire! Soft coating, and flexible hold. Exactly what I wanted to hang frames and canvases.

This is the way to go if you are framing regularly. It is a much better deal than buying it in small amounts or in a kit from the hardware store. It is a good versatile weight. If you wrap it properly, it holds tight onto itself and wont come loose.

This is my third time to order and returned twice now because it is delivered with broken plastic reel that holds the wire, causing the wire to fall off the reel. Disappointed because I can’t get it delivered in one piece. But the wire product is great.

If I could rate this product 100 stars, Id do it. For what would have cost about 5x as much at a local hardware store, Amazon is selling this amazing product at an amazing value. What makes this wire so great is just how true to its name it is: its as soft as a babys bottom - which means its super easy to work with. Its flexibility and vinyl coating mean you wont be pricking any fingers with this stuff. The item as currently pictured shows a picture weight limit of 43 lb, but the package I received (same 500 ft super softstrang) has a label claiming a weight limit of 60 lbs. Im using this wire to bind sections of hardware cloth together for making a fence, but this great wire has many other practical applications.

This wire is really easy to work with and once you get the hang of how to tie the knot it gives your pictures a very professionally framed look. Make sure to get a pair of good needle nose pliers with good wire snip.

This is my go to picture wire. Its easy to twist on the ends and wont stab your fingers in the process. It holds over 40 pounds, but your end tying technique needs to be up to par with that kind of weight or I imagine it will unwind if you simply twist the ends. You just need a decent cable cutter or it will still fray the ends a bit.
