If you are in a place where you hang a lot of pictures, this is the sensible, quantity purchase that will keep you wired for a while. this is a sturdy wire easy to deal with and you wont be left with shorty leftovers. I knew amazon would have this product.

After using this picture hanging wire I will NEVER go back to the cheap stuff again. This is a high quality product that makes handling a painting for hanging a pleasure. I am sure there are lots of happy and less cut up hands on everyone who handled my paintings. It is worth the extra price with enough to hang lots of paintings. I am very happy with this coated stainless steel wire. (which means no rust like the cheaper wires) To all artists who frame their own paintings I highly recommend this. The spool was broken when it arrived, but the wire itself is just what I wanted. Cuts well and feels sturdy.

Highly recommend this over non-coated wire. I stuck with non-coated for forever because I thought that maybe this stuff wouldnt tighten as well, but it absolutely does. The best part is that when you cut it there arent a ton of loose wires to stab you in the fingers. Ill never go back. Its a revelation.

I use a lot of this wire for hanging pictures, the soft insulation is great because it doesnt mar painted walls like bare steel or aluminum will do. The recommended wrapping/knot technique is pictured on the spools label, this is very handy.

Awesome product! This is my second roll of this and using it I have never cried out, or writhed in pain as I did using wire that was not plastic coated. I use it to put wire on the backs of my paintings and I will never bother to try anything else. This is a wonderful product that I wholeheartedly recommend!
