This is the best picture wire Ive ever dealt with. Ive never poked myself with the cut end, or had tiny bits of wire fall out of it when cutting. Makes nice sticky knots and wraps and is super strong. Have no fear of failure.

As a full time, artist this has been a wise and prudent purchase decision. I use this for all of my paintings and just double up on the cord when I am hanging something that seems heavy, like a 32-inch square pastel under glass.

Product arrived on time and was as expected except... One of the plastic outer circles was broken, making it a little hard to unwind. Not unusable, though.

This is an excellent product for hanging paintings and the do it yourself framer/artist. The plastic coating gives a quality appearence and will not scratch the frame or walls. The price is reasonable and the product comes with a diagram of how to tie the wire in a neat, professional manner. I highly recommend this product.

This picture wire is great and easy to work with. The plastic coating makes it very hand-friendly when tying into the hanging hardware. I have been able to hang frames as big as 48x48 and as small as 11x14 with this stuff. I have never been disappointed in its ability to hold a picture up properly. A single roll is size 5 wire gauge by 500ft long. It has a max hold of 43lbs. Standard wire cutters will cut this wire no problem as well. The product itself is very good. Using it as a picture hanging wire and it is quite nice and holds its shape when twisted. However. The plastic spool it is packed on was broken on arrival. There were no pieces in the box so I have to assume it was broken at the shipping center. (Amazon shipped it?) The wire on the spool completely unwound in the box during shipping and was really bad to deal with. 500 ft of stainless wire literally unsprung from the box like a long loose spring. I made my own spool and rewound it on that and that will work fine. The annoyance factor for this was very high. If Amazon packed and/or handled this for shipping they need to look at how they are storing this product. This really was a big annoyance for me.
