Very easy to use for picture frames or other items to hang on walls- no sharp edge or cut fingers! Added support wires to several jersey cases mounted without drilling into basement poured walls. This is a LOT of wire for a very reasonable price. If you buy picturing framing kits with wire and hangers and all that, youll spend a lot. I buy all parts separately, in bulk. This wire is coated, which I like.

Im an artist and I hate those goofy packages of wire that have enough for one or two paintings. This is perfect. Easy to keep in my studio and when Im wiring a piece at the last minute (seems that is my M.O.) I dont need to scrounge through containers or take wire from another piece.

Its obvious why this wire has an almost perfect review record. Pros: 1. Its affordable and really a great deal. 2. Theres a lot of it and itll last a good long while. My wife paints a lot and I used to buy hanging wire at home depot. It was a few dollars for about 20 feet and Id go through it way too fast. 3. I was hesitant about the protective material thinking it might slip but I love it. Very gentle on the hands while tying and it does stay put. 4. Its strong. 5. Easy to cut with a pair of good tin snips. Cons: Zero

I work as a handyman. Lately I have been doing a lot of picture hanging. Maybe a 45 LB wire is overkill on tiny frames ( < 10 lbs) but the ease of use, and having it on a spool is a real time saver. But, whenever I use this product, I get flashbacks to my childhood, watching the Roadrunner cartoons, thinking about the Coyote and a spool of fuse wire for dynamite, that somehow always ended badly for the Coyote.

This was the first time I have ordered this picture wire and I am so glad I did. I recently had many paintings I needed to put hangers on for a show, and this wire was so easy to work with compared to uncoated wires. I highly recommend this picture wire.

I really like this coated wire. Its strong enough for all of my artwork and the vinyl coating helps my hands! The larger size - like this - is a really good value.

This is the best picture wire Ive ever dealt with. Ive never poked myself with the cut end, or had tiny bits of wire fall out of it when cutting. Makes nice sticky knots and wraps and is super strong. Have no fear of failure.

Probably more wire than Ill ever need, but having this beats going to the store constantly for those small packs of hanging wire. Identical wire to what I used while working in a frame shop. Easy to work with and sturdy.
