> 3 dayI bought the peppermint variety of TofOBS shave cream. The reviews made it sound as if the old way of doing business is far better than the canned shave cream. I am not seeing it. Ill give them the post shave cooling effect was good. But other than that, the can is far better. Using shave creams adds 5 steps to the ritual. And creates a much bigger clean up effort. I will finish off this tub then return to canned shave cream. Write it off as a bad idea listening to a group of over zealots. Maybe I can use the bowl for small breakfasts. And Ill use the brush to dust off my defunct manual toothbrushes. Good luck with yr decision.

> 3 dayI use a safety razor every 2 days and I have been pleased with this shaving cream. Most creams this thick gum up and prevent the razor from getting close enough to the skin. This one doesnt. The consistency is adjustable from a thick layer for long hair to a thin layer (that still sticks!) for a reverse pass. The peppermint smell is strong but natural.

08-06-2025This is the 5th TOBS that I have tried. The smell is very minty and leaves a nice tingle on my face. Perfect for those that shave in the morning, it helps open my eyes in the shower. The cream lathers quick and a little bit of product goes a long way. I have been pairing the cream with a feather as-d2 razor. I would use this cream again, although I am sure I will try another scent before I finish this one.

> 3 dayIf you like the cool tingling from menthol/mint shave cream, this is the one for you. The first time using this shaving cream was new and surprising! Intense!

Greater than one weekIm a long time user of TOBS cream, tried maybe a half dozen varieties and after a few shaves think this might be my favorite. Its got a great tingle to it, not too much but very refreshing. Give it a try. My second favorite is probably the avocado scent.

> 3 dayFirst time using this type of shave cream. I have always used the gels, but they tend to clog up my electric razor. So I bought a new electric shaver so I thought Id give this a try. Now I know you purist out there dont like electric razors, but Im telling you this stuff works great with electric shavers. Makes a nice lather, has that wake up aroma, and rinses very clean off my face and off my razor. Im sold. And it goes a very long way. One tub will last me six months easy.

> 3 dayThis review is for the peppermint. The cream has a nice smell, and feels great on the skin. I use this cream by scooping a small amount with one or two fingers into a bowl and then work it into a lather with a brush. I then allow the cream to sit on my skin for 2 minutes to soften the hair and skin and it results in a perfect shave. This stuff leaves my skin feeling nice and the peppermint adds a nice cooling sensation during and afterwards.

Greater than one weekI have used this product in various fragrances for several years. To me it seems better and better value than the Art of Shaving equivalent product i was using prior.

> 3 dayI love the shaving cream! The peppermint obviously acts as a cooling refresher during and after the shave. I do not make a frothy soap with a mug, instead I just wet my hands and take a glob and apply the way one would with shaving cream from a can. I use a safety razor, and blades alongside this shaving cream. I just do not use a brush and mug for my convenience and limited bathroom area. I would recommend this brand, and this scent. I may purchase more in the future, if it continues to do well. :_)

> 3 dayAlways been a big fan of Taylor of Old Bond Street products. This stuff is great. Word of caution: you only need to apply a very small amount to your brush! A small dip will turn into a massive amount of lather -Easily lathers up into a smooth, creamy lather -Feels great on skin, produces a cooling sensation -As with all Taylor of OBS shaving creams, gives you a great shave
