> 3 dayExceptional product. After using Art of Shaving for several years I became annoyed with the lack of inventory and repeated “out of stock” messages. I researched and found this. First, it is a thicker, more solid product. I like this, it keeps me from overusing. A little water on the brush and it’s perfect. It doesn’t take much. Has a great smell and while I can’t say it tingles when used, I do use a pre shave oil. After the shave I do feel the effect of the peppermint. I also sense it when used on areas of my face that have no pre shave oil. Great product. Don’t be confused by the reviews that talk about how hard or solid the product is.

> 3 dayIts hard to beat the quality of Taylor of Old Bond Street products. This one is no different. It lathers easily and provides great lubrication. I really love the scent of this one. Its very light and pleasant. It feels cool and tingly on my face. Out of several different creams and soaps I own and use, this is my favorite scent.

> 3 dayThis review is for the peppermint. The cream has a nice smell, and feels great on the skin. I use this cream by scooping a small amount with one or two fingers into a bowl and then work it into a lather with a brush. I then allow the cream to sit on my skin for 2 minutes to soften the hair and skin and it results in a perfect shave. This stuff leaves my skin feeling nice and the peppermint adds a nice cooling sensation during and afterwards.

> 3 dayThis is my first outing with this brand and Im very pleased. Great scent and a just a little tingly on the skin, I assume due to the peppermint oil. Although, just enough to be a pleasant sensation. I cant imagine it would even bother those with sensitive skin. Id definitely purchase this again.

> 3 dayPROS: Foams up very quickly so it doesnt take 1+ mins to lather up like some other soaps. Cost efficient. CONS: Sometimes the lather will get sticky when on face. This can be fixed by using more water when lathering. NEUTRAL: The peppermint smell is not subtle, its sweet like candy, so expect that. 4/5

> 3 dayI’m not sure why this is considered for sensitive skin but the shaving cream lathers well and has a great smell. The blade slides over it easily and leaves an excellent shave. I use feather blades with an aggressive Muhle razor. This is a great shaving cream. I’m not sure what the negative reviews were expecting but this is a great product.

18-11-2024Having recently got into traditional shaving (single blade razor, soap brush, alum bar, etc) this shaving cream is working really well for me. Definitely love the peppermint aroma and the way it makes my face feel. Its pricey as shaving cream goes but its worth it. It doesnt take very much on the brush/hand to get a rich lather going. Honestly I was a little skeptical of the old-school shaving stuff but it really had made a huge difference in the way my beard grows and the overall feeling of my face post-shaving.

> 3 dayThis is a very, in you your face, wake you up in the morning, feeling refreshed kinda peppermint. I love it. Huge peppermint shaving cream fan, ie proraso. This is easy lather to build like most tobs. The only other scent that tops this is the marzipan/almond/cherry like a cella. This gives great slickness and protection. Little goes a long way. I Would buy again.

> 3 dayI bought this shaving cream a few months ago as an add to a larger order in order to qualify for free shipping. I have to say Im pretty happy with it. When using a shaving brush it lathers up nicely and helps achieve a smooth shave. It also has a nice clean scent of peppermint. The peppermint scent doesnt last too long and wont overpower your aftershave or cologne.
