> 3 dayIm a huge TOB fan and have used them exclusively for years. I think they lather the best out of any brand Ive experienced. Ive tried almost every scent and really can only get along with a few of them (sandalwood, almond) and dislike most of them. This scent is on the dislike list. It doesnt smell like real peppermint but rather a laboratory recreation, which it probably is. Im moving away from TOB because its getting too expensive for me, but I still stand by that they are the best if you can afford it.

> 3 dayI am a HUGE fan of Taylor of Old Bond Street. My go-to is usually the Eton College shave cream, but I am also what some might crudely call a menthol slut. Well, Clubmans Osage Rub is my guilty pleasure, so I thought a nice peppermint oil laden shaving cream by TOBS would be a great addition to my gourmet shaving kit. Boy was I right! Now, this cream wont burn your face or anything, but as you brush the lather on your face, you can instantly feel the cooling sensation. Its wonderful. You cant feel any fresher than this while shaving...or can you? Rinse off when youre done, then slap on some Osage Rub and REALLY make your eyes water! This shave cream gloriously intensifies the effect of that aftershave, which is my #1 favorite thing about it!

> 3 dayWow, there is so much I want to say about this product that I find it hard to begin, so lets start at the beginning... I got into traditional wet shaving about 6 months ago, I finally got tired of paying ridiculous amounts of money for multi blade cartridges that, while they did their job rather well, would only last me for 8 or maybe 10 shaves at the most. that is because I have a very hard, coarse and thick beard, and because of my job I have to be clean shaven every day. So, after reading and watching some videos about wet shaving on youtube, I decided to go to my local Target store ( I live in San Diego, Ca.) and got myself a van der haagen butterfly open safety razor, some blades, and a van der haagen shaving kit that included a shaving bowl, a badger hair brush and a shaving soap... I immediately noticed a great difference compared to the cartridges, I got a very close shave with minimal irritation, and, making my own foam with the brush and shaving soap really was a great experience, and, compared to the canned stuff I was using before, the soap felt very different in a great way. That soap lasted for about six months, I came to amazon looking for a shaving cream (looked for shaving cream in Target but they do not carry it) and decided to give Taylor of Old Bond Street peppermint shaving cream a go after reading some reviews, I also got a tub of Proraso sandalwood pre shave cream... and after coming out of the shower, I wetted my face with hot water, rubbed a bit of the Proraso pre-shave cream, took my brush and just got a litte bit of TOBS cream on the tips and started making lather on my shaving bowl... and the results where AMAZING!! Just a litte bit of cream on the tips of my brush created more than enough thick, rich, warm, creamy lather with a fantastic, delicious smell, I applied it to my face and it just felt great, again, the smell was intense and fresh and delicious and, at least to me, the combination of that scent and the sweet woody and earthy scent of the Proraso pre-shave cream was just fantastic, when applied to my face, it felt like cream and I felt the invigorating kick of the peppermint. The difference between this cream and the soap I was previously using is enormous, and, compared to the canned stuff I was using for 20 years up to 6 months ago is just... abismal!! I was a bit worried that the scent would be a bit overbearing, or that the peppermint in the cream would be so strong that it would burn my face, but that was not the case, when youre whipping up this stuff and when you put it in your face, the scent is strong without being overbearing and once you are done and you rinse your face, you are left with a little bit of the scent and a fresh feeling. I totally recommend this product, I like it so much, that I will get some for my brothers and for my dad.

> 3 dayThis is the 5th TOBS that I have tried. The smell is very minty and leaves a nice tingle on my face. Perfect for those that shave in the morning, it helps open my eyes in the shower. The cream lathers quick and a little bit of product goes a long way. I have been pairing the cream with a feather as-d2 razor. I would use this cream again, although I am sure I will try another scent before I finish this one.

> 3 dayThis stuff is FANTASTIC. Excellent lather and an amazing peppermint tingle while you shave. So amazing to use a great product like this. The scent is not as powerful as I had thought but the feeling on your face and the top-notch TOBS lather more than makes up for it. I would give this shaving cream 10 stars if I could. Also, this is my second TOBS shave cream and they are both amazing! Ill be a lifetime customer for sure.

> 3 dayTOBS shaving creams perform very well, and they come in a million great scents. I like the feeling of menthol on my face, and the peppermint in this variety produces the same effect. Recommended for those who like that tingle.
