> 3 dayIm a huge TOB fan and have used them exclusively for years. I think they lather the best out of any brand Ive experienced. Ive tried almost every scent and really can only get along with a few of them (sandalwood, almond) and dislike most of them. This scent is on the dislike list. It doesnt smell like real peppermint but rather a laboratory recreation, which it probably is. Im moving away from TOB because its getting too expensive for me, but I still stand by that they are the best if you can afford it.

> 3 daySimply the best! The scent is more towards peppermint candy than peppermint leaf. There is a tingle when applied. Nice clean scent but not overbearing. Light enough to pair with most aftershaves. Small amount lathers excellent with enough slick. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayThis stuff is AWESOME! I love the scent and the minty tingle. It whips up into a very nice lather, and is really the most enjoyable and exhilarating shave cream Ive ever used. Once washed off the scent is pretty much gone; It doesnt linger around like some cheap cologne. How did I not know about this shave cream sooner? Youve got to give it a try! Update: Ive been using this stuff for a while now and I really love it! However, I stocked up and purchased a new batch in Oct. 2016 and just now, two months later, cracked into it. It has a slight off smell to it... I cant quite place it but Im leaning towards a metallic smell. And it doesnt whip up at all. It feels sticky on the skin. Unfortunately I missed the return window. I dont know if I got a counterfeit batch, a bad batch, or what, but Im terribly bummed. I may need to source this stuff from somewhere else if it is going to be sold by different sellers and it is inconsistent.

> 3 dayDue to some vendors chicanery, I no longer give 5-star reviews. That being said, this item is worth a 5-star review. This is a typical TOBS product - you truly get what you pay for. Like all TOBS shave creams, a little goes a long way. I LOVE this peppermint scent! This will definitely make my rotation multiple times a week. I cant say enough about TOBS shave cream, its slick, good for sensitive skin, and smells wonderful! I bought a TOBS sampler pack recently and this was one of my favorites.

> 3 dayExcellent shaving cream. A little goes a long way. I compared this to the Art of Shaving brand and this is a much better value. Larger container/same consistency/excellent fragrance.

> 3 dayI love peppermint washes and creams and this shave cream surely does not fall short in letting you know you are in fact shaving with a peppermint cream through scent and sensation. It has the warming sensation that typically accompanies peppermint, a nice little morning wake me up in addition your coffee. It also coats and lathers extremely well especially compared to Proraso creams. You only need to dab just the tiniest amount on your brush to get it going after wetting the brush. It is not however as gentle and nourishing as Proraso creams as it does leave one of those slightly sticky films on your skin that will linger unless you treat with a moisturizing cream thereafter. Overall, a great shave soap/cream option to add to your wet shaving repertoire.

> 3 dayThis review is for the peppermint. The cream has a nice smell, and feels great on the skin. I use this cream by scooping a small amount with one or two fingers into a bowl and then work it into a lather with a brush. I then allow the cream to sit on my skin for 2 minutes to soften the hair and skin and it results in a perfect shave. This stuff leaves my skin feeling nice and the peppermint adds a nice cooling sensation during and afterwards.

> 3 dayFirst off for perspective, I switched to traditional shaving with a safety razor & brush for well over a year now; very happy to have made that decision & would definitely encourage folks to try it. Theres a difference in initial acquisition cost but in the long run I feel that it is far cheaper & better for your face (i.e. you can pick up blades for 10-14 cents apiece in most cases. So a pack of 100 blades for 10-15 bucks, with 4-5 shaves per blade, will last you a long time. I shave every day, so a pack of 100 will last me a year & a half). Now for this particular cream. I have the Taylor Sandalwood Shaving Cream & was very pleased with the results. So I decided to try and pick up another Taylor cream. I was drawn to the Peppermint in a novelty sort of way; I didnt know what to expect, but I was willing to give it a try. After a couple of uses I am very pleased with the results. When you first apply it to your face, it takes a few moments before you really feel the icey peppermint effect. The smell is wonderful & enjoyable. Generally, I find shaving creams based in England to be very enjoyable (I also use Geo F. Trumpers) when compared to American based creams. Soaps are not my style, but for each man hell have his own preference. As it stands, would recommend the Taylor of Old Bond Street Peppermint Shave Cream to anyone.

Greater than one weekGreat product. Smooth skin and makes your skin shine. Smells great on skin, tingles. Creamy and a little goes a looong way. Large volume so it will last a long time before running out. This is literally the best shave cream I’ve EVER used in the 40 years I’ve been shaving. Couldn’t be happier with with product. Finally..,,,,
