Does just what it looks like it does. If you regularly shoot tethered this will help keep your data cable connected to your camera.

It just seems kind of pointless. Really does not relieve tension like you need it to. It just kind of prevents cord from falling if it gets disconnected. Not really the point in my opinion, it’s suppose to prevent the cord from bending and breaking. Who knows maybe I’m the fool, but it does nothing.
