I had boughten one JerkStopper earlier but working with 2-DSLRs I needed a 2nd one plus one for the Laptop. These items will save you money in the long run for protecting the ports on either the camera or laptop.

Like other reviewers have stated, I wouldnt give this product the benefit of a title JerkStopper. But it does help support the cable a little bit better, especially when we have the camera at 90 degrees. Would definitely not buy again for the price, would consider it at half off though. Cheap plastic parts and string, make it yourself.

It works wonders!

If you tether to your computer while shooting, this is essential. An OOOPs here could destroy your laptop or camera, so dont take chances. Concentrate on making the shot and worry less about the equipment.

This is a must have if you tether. Otherwise you run the risk of damaging your ports.
