Greater than one weekFor those of you who say frozen, its too cold, lay a layer of T-shirt material over your head where the mask will touch, then pull the mask down over that layer until the mask warms up a little. I can get a good 1-1/2 to 2 hours of relief from each mask, and with having 5 of them (which took me a year to buy), Im good for 8-10 hours, and by then, the 1st ones are re-frozen!! Im almost 67 years old and have had migraines since I was a baby, so Ive been through the ringer and have learned how to work things and find anything and everything to try and ease migraines!!! These stretchy ice hats have saved my life, literally, and mine have never smelled. I still have the original plastic bags they came in. Im so sorry for those of you got some with the horrible odors, Im not saying there maybe arent some bad ones.

> 3 dayI recommend this product to anyone who has ever mentioned a headache. It’s the perfect combination of compression, cold feeling fabric, blackout effect, and comfort. It’s hard to describe how it feels until you put it on… but somehow it’s cool to the touch, and is so comfortable to sleep in. After 2 years of heavy use mine is starting to stretch out a bit, but I am happily going to purchase another to replace it.

> 3 dayDiscovered this product by chance through an Amazon e-mail. At first, I was skeptical about purchasing something like this for my headaches but I am so glad that I did! A nice alternative to medication or to use in addition to medication. Not exactly a fashion statement but when you have a headache, who cares? Brings fast cooling relief for my migraines. Has a comfortable fit and I especially like how, if desired, you can cover your eyes and the back of your neck with it as well. Only downside, as others have commented, is that the cooling does not last very long so having an extra cap to trade off with might be a good investment. Also, extremely cold out of the freezer so cooling in the refrigerator is a good option, even though that contributes to its warming up more quickly when used. Overall, a great purchase! I have 2.

> 3 dayI have tried a few different ice pack hats and this one is the most comfortable. Others are bulky and collect ice on the outside when I put it in the freezer. But this one is made of comfortable material and is very smooth.

Greater than one weekI really like this for my migraines. It gets cold quickly so its ready to go if I need it multiple times a day. Its comfortable to wear and I like that I can slide it down over my eyes to help when that light sensitivity hits me. This really should be part of your migraine tool kit if you dont already have it.

> 3 dayLove these for my tension like headaches from occipital neuralgia. I do wish they stayed colder a little longer but I just rotate them out in the freezer. They cover all the areas I need and I usually supplement with another ice pack neck wrap for my neck and shoulders and it brings me back to life for a bit. I work from home so these get used a LOT. This 2 pack has a bit more of a chemical smell at first but Im sure will fade.

> 3 dayI love this thing so much. I usually don’t stick it in the fridge before wearing it but the compression alone is nice. My daughter is always borrowing it to sleep with so she got her own. I’ve had so many friends and family order them after trying mine. It works great for headaches but is also just soothing!
