> 24 hourTL;DR: Bought on sale cyber monday, shouldve bought a spare battery then. Go ahead and get a spare battery for the deeper cleaning days! I can normally cover ~2800sq/ft (hard to guess tbh, not sure how big the downstairs is, but it does account for most of the house, and is mostly tile/hardwood) in 25ish minutes and be fine, but if Ive been lazy and the cats have been shedding, one battery wont quite make it (but itll be close). I really like this vacuum! Other things of note: If you run it wide open (max suction) the battery will last maybe 10 minutes. You do not need to do this however unless the situation calls for it. let it decide. You need to clean the dust filter often (This goes for many vacuums, not just this one), I normally do it after every full-downstairs vacuum because it comes with a spare, and itll normally be dry by the time I want to use it again. Takes about 1 minute total to clean, so theres no reason not to do this. Thats it. Its a great vacuum for what I wanted it for, light to medium duty frequent use so I dont have to bust out the plug-in dyson and drag that thing all over the place. For carpet heavy environments, you want something plug-in period, this is not a great main unit for a carpet heavy environment. For all hard floors it would be great. We have 3 cats and two small children, so theres always something that needs vacuuming and I wanted a reasonably powerful cordless vac to hit the proverbial high spots, and this more than meets those relatively low requirements. As stated above, I can usually cover the whole downstairs on a single charge, occasionally if theres excessive crud (because someone hasnt been running it regularly) I have to grab the second battery, or if were doing a more deep cleaning around the furniture and pulling stuff out from the wall, it comes in handy (think multiple canister dumpings and what not). Its very easy to break down and clean.. I probably shouldve read the instructions but nah. I have not clogged the dust filter to a point where the vacuum constantly runs in high vacuum mode (this is a complaint I read about from other users), and I keep it clean to avoid that situation. This is something one should do with their corded vacuums as well, as it greatly cuts down on the available power if neglected (and causes a higher instance of dust circulation rather than capture). The included tools are mostly helpful for the situations that require them, not much else to say there. I dont see the point of the dust filter cleaner attachment since youd just be clogging up the other filter, instead I wash them by hand in the sink by running water down the middle (backwards), and let em dry til the next use. easy peasy.

> 24 hourWe had cheap vacumes that did not seem to do the job. This one is a bit more expensive but not too expensive. I really did my homework and we are happy with this unit for pets. no tangling on roller and messages and filter cleaning capability. Very high tech and vacumes well up to baseboards real good.

> 24 hour** Long post ahead ** I have been using corded shark vacuums for the last 5 years. My most recent one broke so I decided to try out a cordless one since that seems to be the new big thing. I wasnt sure what brand to try and I knew I didnt want to spend $1,000 on a big name brand one. So I did my research and found Tineco. Videos and reviews were great and people seemed to rave about this brand of vacuum. I purchased it and it came in the mail early. I used it immediately (knowing the battery wasnt fully charged but I was excited). I wanted to return it almost instantly. I have a shorter area rug. Its not totally flat but its also not a shag carpet length. I couldnt even get the darn sweeper to move on the rug. I literally worked up a sweat just to make at least 2 vacuum lines. By that time the battery was dead (I jad it on Auto). I plugged it in and let it charge while we went out of town for the weekend. Came back and decided to try again. This time with a full battery I was able to at least move it (obviously it would move easier with less suction in certain areas). On my laminate floor it did ok picking up dog hair. Again I had it on Auto mode to conserve the battery. It did an ok job but definitely didnt get as much as my corded vacuum did. I had to pick up my pace to try and get as much of my house vacuumed before the battery ran out. I have a 1200 sqft house and to hit every spot it takes roughly 30-45 min to vacuum. I didnt even get 15min out of a fully charged battery. So my bedrooms, laundry area, and bathrooms did not get touched and I had to speed through the dining room. I may just pull out one of my older vacuums and use that just to feel satisfied that my house is properly swept. I will give it a couple more tries, but right now I just want to return it. So far it seems like an overhyped fad and a waste of money.

> 24 hourI wanted to wait a couple of weeks to give a more accurate review. I own the Tineco Floor vac/mop and I dont know how Id live without it! BUT, I didnt automatically buy their cordless vac; I researched and read hundreds of reviews on different models and brands before purchasing. The Pros: Its powerful! I have 3 teens, 2 shedding dogs, and a home office which means we dirty our floors a lot! The suction is fantastic! It cleans stairs, hardwoods, tile and carpet, no problem. Easy to empty. Great filters for smells. Gets under furniture. Really easy to use. It has a maximum power button but you dont need it often. The regular mode is powerful enough and it will run longer on one charge with regular mode. Great attachments! Best vac Ive used for cleaning my car. The cons: Doesnt stand up on its own. I think this is a major design flaw. A vacuum should stand up when its connected to the floor attachment! Also, Its heavy. I vacuumed 2000 sq ft. of different types of flooring to get a real feel for it. After 1500 it gets heavy. The Miele stick vac has a configuration option to lower the motor so the weight is near the floor. Its easier to push/pull weight than to hold it. To a small person like myself this makes a difference. Lastly; for some odd reason the handle gave me a small blister on the top of my thumb. I changed hands and it did the same on the other one. The square design of the handle area rubs the tops my thumbs. Bottom line: I would purchase it again. BUT, I wouldnt buy this as my only vacuum for more than 1500 sq feet. I have a Miele canister for the whole house. I use the Tineco for inbetween cleanings and spills. I also own the Miele Stick Vacuum for another location. This is better IMO. Hope this helps.

> 24 hourBattery on my Dyson V7 was dying so I shopped around for a replacement. Seriously considered buying another Dyson, but wanted to consider newer technology. After 1 month of use, I believe this vacuum is better than the Dyson. It’s nice to have the LED light and especially the trigger lock(unlike the Dyson). The automatic dirt sensor controls the speed of the motor! Lastly, the battery life is excellent!

> 24 hourThis is my favorite vacuum ever. Upgraded from my Dyson V7. This one really doesnt get tangled in hair. It only clogs if I accidentally catch something bigger like a tissue. The light on the front helps me see how good of a job its doing, too. I really like the stand up charging station and the attachments and so on. The battery life is really good so far. Best vacuum Ive had!

> 24 hourThis is my first cordless vacuum, but I have been quite impressed with it for the price I paid (I got it on sale for Prime day). Battery life is very good when letting it auto-adjust the suction, and at max mode it does a fantastic job getting cat hair out of my carpets. The accessories it came with cover all of my needs so far as well. The only con for me is that edge performance with the main vacuum head is pretty lackluster: the beater bar and suction dont quite extend to the edge, so there is an eighth of an inch or so next to the wall that just never gets as clean unless I use the crevice tool or something to really vacuum those edges. Overall though its working well for me and I would recommend it. I have two cats, and with a robot vacuum to help me keep up with the fur tumbleweeds and this for deeper cleaning/stairs/spot cleaning messes my needs are met and then some!

> 24 hourAfter a few uses, it stopped working. The suction was low and it would spit things out when you turned it off. I was shocked. I posted a bad review and was immediately contacted by the company with some details about how to troubleshoot. Ill admit, I had a chip on my shoulder that I had cleaned it really well and that it was just broken. But then I realized there were two filters and I hadnt pulled out the inner filter. This was clogged. I had overlooked it. Then I realized there was this added attachment that you can put the filter into (you get two filters when you buy this and one of them is in this attachment) and you do teh max suction and turn the attachment and it cleans out that filter. I also washed and dried it. Ta-Da! Now it works again. So Im changing this from a 1 rating to a 3 rating. The reason Im not going higher is because I still am a little less than impressed with its suction. I was using this in my car since its such a nice easy cordless handheld as well, but it just wasnt really strong enough. I also cant believe how quickly it got clogged and needed to be cleaned, so that will be a weekly if not daily occurrence to avoid losing that suction. I may up to this to a 4 star if I feel it continues to function properly, but for now I want to give it some time and see how well it works. So for anyone reading the reviews about loss of suction, keep in mind that those people maybe didnt take the steps to clean both the inner and top filter. Its a small space and can get clogged easily.

> 24 hourLove the variable suction so far. Needed a second battery. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and lots of dirt from ongoing house remodeling. Likely dirt levels will be lighter when construction is done. But it cleans great!

> 24 hourI’ve been using this for a few months now and it is fabulous. We have vinyl plank flooring with rugs. Live on a ranch and also have a toddler so we’re using it daily, often multiple times a day. The only drawback is it doesn’t do SUPER well on carpet/rugs but we use our standard vacuum for that. This cleans up dirt and debris on hard flooring and the light makes it easy to see pet hair and dirt/sand. Never had the battery die and we vacuum multiple rooms. And the attachments are great too. Plus it’s not that loud which is great as our toddler is alarmed by things like blenders, standard vacuum etc. It also doesn’t bother our flighty cats. When you don’t have time to constantly break out the broom and dust pan, this does the trick. Also great to suck up stuff in the car seat, the play area, etc with the multiple attachments.
