> 3 dayI got the Pure One 15 after my last 2 Dyson cordless V8 & V10 did not have the the value over time I expect at that price. I liked the standing charging dock and that replacement parts/accessories were more reasonably priced. Wirecutter recommends the Pure one, so I decided to try it out. CR no longer recommends cordless sticks bc arent great value over time, but I have LOVED my Dysons in mint condition. I dont think the suction on this compares to my V8, but the battery is probably comparable in run time. The bin is much smaller on the Pure One. It is much quieter than my Dysons have been which is a plus but Id rather louder and vacuum for 3 minutes than quieter and vacuum for 10. On MAX, it is barely more effective than low or auto settings. And it is MUCH much harder to maneuver. Dyson is a zoom zoom and were done, easy breezy experience by comparison. I find I am covering the same territory back and forth and back and forth which is not a big deal in a small space but would drive me nuts in a larger space. But if it lasts as long as my Dysons, it may be acceptable. I kinda like that you dont have to hold the power on but it does save power when pausing. Im not used to clicking it on/off yet when I pause but I can do a daily spin on one charge in my space so it isnt a very big deal. I cannot recommend to Dyson owners, it is heavier, slower, and all around disappointing BUT if you have no comparison and cant or wont spend on a Dyson, many other reviewers seem perfectly satisfied. Currently, the price is same as V8, without comparable loaded accessories from Dyson. I would recommend V8 over the Pure One for the same price. But that could change if this one performs better over time. The standing charging dock was the deciding factor for me on this purchase. I figured knock offs had time to catch up, but this is not what I would consider competitive with a 5 year old Dyson model V8. I will likely return to Dyson on my next purchase having sampled the competition. I feel better about spending on a Dyson, even if it doesnt last as long as it should for the price. The price/longevity is the only disadvantage of the Dysons. I am actually surprised wire cutter selected the Pure One.

> 3 dayOf all of the household chores that exist, vacuuming is my favorite. I love to vacuum. I love the satisfaction of vacuuming, and I love it when I know my vacuum is doing a good job. Ive had multiple Dysons, Hoovers, Bissell, and Shark vacuums over the years. I decided to try this brand out for a change. Everything I read sounded great, so I was so excited to get it! Pro - I can feel the strong suction. Especially when you but it in Max mode on a hard surface (not carpet), you can feel the suction. - The indicator ring on top shows how dirty an area is, then it turns blue as it gets cleaner - It tells you how much % battery power is left on the screen as you use it - its very quiet. It automatically chooses the strength of the suction to clean an area. The strongest setting is still quite quiet. Con - Im still getting used to seeing the indicator ring, so I feel like sometimes I overly fixate on one spot just bc the ring is red and not blue....even if the area do appear to be clean (yes, I know there can be dirt that I might not be seeing) - the battery power indicator is neat, but I feel like it also distracts me bc I can watch it die down so quickly - Each charge doesnt last very long. I can spend maybe 10 minutes vacuuming my upstairs, and thatll use up the entire charge - Charging takes A LONG time to fully charge - In order to charge, you have to rest the device on a charging base. It hooks up on the long attachment, even though the battery is probably in the top part. (Where the trigger and waste basket is) There isnt a way to charge without having it all connected, which takes up more space. - Although the vacuum clearly has multiple settings or degrees of strength when using it. The only 2 options are auto and max. Itd be nice it we could choose something in the middle since it sometimes does choose a light setting and the only want to override that is to put it to Max (which sucks up the battery life... literally) Overall, this is still a good vacuum. For what its priced, though, I expected a bit more.

> 3 dayVery easy to use, good suction, and a nice variety of attachments. I have used primarily on hard floors. It’s so much easier than a vacuum with a cord!

Greater than one weekThis vacuum makes it easy to clean up the daily messes from my dogs and toddler. Battery life is alright depending on the amount of mess. For deep cleaning though its still best to have a decent corded vacuum around.

> 3 dayThis is going to sound like the most guy thing ever, but I bought this for my wife for her birthday. The back story is that our very expensive canister vacuum with the two 90 degree turns in the hose was constantly clogging with dog hair which aggravated her (me) no end. So on a whim I looked for reviews on portables that handled dog hair, and this was one of the top rated units. Getting it on sale was a bennie, however when I gave it to her I did feel like it was me getting a tie at Christmas. However, she absolutely loved it as a gift and her attitude towards cleaning now is 180 degrees better (90 + 90 for those who get the joke). Battery charging is a bit different than Im used to, as you have to plug the entire vacuum into the charger instead of just the battery, but after the 20 minutes it took me to figure that out, all is good. Cant recommend this enough if you have issues with dog hair and want a very good battery operated (read: portable) solution. I DO NOT recommend this for the car, aside from that, its great.

> 3 dayI was very excited to get this vacuum, and it worked great everywhere throughout my small apartment until I went over my flat woven rugs. Since the vacuum can only be used in Auto or Max mode, as soon as it sensed dirt on the rug and revved up, the suction was too much and pulled up the rugs, clogging the head. I contacted customer support, and they suggested trying the app to see if it allowed me to set the vacuum to low suction. It doesnt, but Im hopeful their suggestion indicates that possibly that feature could be added down the road. In the meantime, the smaller brush head works fine on these rugs, but it takes a little more time since that head is half the width of the regular one and not really meant for that kind of floor use. If Id gotten one of these vacuums that didnt have that smaller brush head, I would have had to return it. Luckily since I have a small apartment, the battery life is just fine for me. I can always get what I needed clean on a single charge. This vacuum would be perfect if I could vacuum my rugs as intended.

> 3 dayIt works well. Quiet, suitable for a 4Br house for spot cleaning. Still, you need a Swiffer to clean tight areas.

> 3 dayOverall, product is very good. Lightweight and easy to use with a variety of attachments. When we had a problem with the motor, I called customer service. They went over some basic troubleshooting and determined that the motor was bad and offered to send a new one at no charge. This was all handled in 1 phone call. CS rep was very pleasant. Overall, Id recommend this product to buyers.
