> 3 dayI love the portability of this vacuum system. We live in a little house with stairs. Hauling our regular old vacuum--which is a very good one -- around in relatively cramped spaces was really frustrating. This system works beautifully for us. The changeable attachments make it easy to clean even in tight or very low or very narrow spaces. It works long enough on a single charge that I can do nearly an entire floor. The one thing I wish were possible would be to switch to a less powerful suction level. We have old oriental rugs and the suction is so strong I worry about damage. I have to use the upholstery head for the rugs -- an inconvenience but not a terrible one. You have to clean the dust collector after every job -- not that big a deal -- and you have to clean the brushes and the little filter cylinder -- also not that big a deal. Compared to hauling even a compact vacuum around our little house, this is a dream. I love it!

Greater than one weekGot this vacuum a week ago. It’s cute and great great at picking up dust (not just dirt, but also dust). Only drawback is the battery could be longer.

Greater than one weekWhat I like: the light on the bottom to see all the dirt you’re picking up, the flat head so you can maneuver under furniture, fairly lightweight Cons: terrible with pet hair. Clumps up super fast and I’m always having to dig around the canister to empty it out. My old Dyson I didn’t have to touch any or the dirt or hair to make sure it emptied. It gets clogged easily and quickly loses its suction. I find myself having to wash my hands every time I vacuum because I am removing clogs from the pet hair each time. If you have a dog hair problem, definitely splurge on a higher end model made specifically for it! I wish I would’ve done that.

> 3 dayI bought this vacuum in the hopes that going cord-free would make vacuuming less of a chore. Tineco has surpassed my expectations! I used to dread vacuuming on the weekend, but with the S15, vacuuming is so easy (and almost fun) that I vacuum high traffic areas daily. I had not heard of Tineco, but I bought it based on NYTs Wirecutter, whose recommendations have never steered me wrong. Wirecutter recommended the cheaper S11, but I went with S15 because I hate dealing with tangled hair. The S15 handles my hair perfectly. When I was researching Tineco, I thought the smart feature sounded gimmicky. However, its actually very helpful having the pink/red light come on when the floor is particularly dirty, and I like that the suction increases automatically if necessary. I now realize that with my old vacuum, I was leaving a lot of dirt behind. I also like how easy it is to dump the dirt out! Theres a trap door where it falls out, and a lever that pushes it down if some help is needed. With my old vacuum, I had to reach in every time to get out clumps of dirt, and it was so gross to touch and breathe in that stuff. There are 2 negatives, but I think theyre standard with on stick vacuums: It feels a bit heavier in my hand than I would like. And the battery doesnt last long enough to do my entire house; only maybe 1,000 square feet. Neither of these things bother me that much. I dont mind taking a break during the vacuuming.

> 3 dayThis appears to be an excellent vacuum cleaner. It picks up well, has HEPA filtration, easy emptying, light weight, and a nice assortment of accessories. Customer service was very responsive and helpful in some problems I had locating the serial number so that I could register the product. The only problem is that, although the webpage confirmed that my product had been registered, I was unable to login on the iPhone app with the same user name and password. Apparently, login credentials work some places but not others within Tineco sites / apps. But overall, though I havent used the machine long, it is performing well, and is a whole lot better than the old corded, heavy one I had.

Greater than one weekI love this cordless vacuum. It has been so handy for quick messes and clean ups from the kids to the dog. I have a short haired dog and plenty of dust and this vacuum holds up to both! It’s great for the couch and the extra attachments are great for different surfaces. I love the holder/docking station however it was a little challenging to hang. The location we chose didn’t have access to a stud for more secure hanging, and the small plastic wall anchors were not enough to support it. My husband ended up having to use a personal stash to better secure it. Despite these struggles I love that it stops charging once fully charged to avoid overcharging and it’s suction and battery life are great for quick clean ups and even in the bedrooms with low pile carpets!

> 3 dayIve had my Shark Rocket corded stick for about 4 years. As much as Ive loved it, I really wanted to upgrade to something cordless with better attachments. The design, packaging and quality all exceeded my expectations. For context, I have a very small house that usually takes 20 minutes to fully vacuum. Its all vinyl wood with three area rugs, two very low pile (washable) and one a longer shag length rug. I also have two dogs, short haired, that do shed, but their hair doesnt really stick to anything so its always been easy to vacuum. Cons: - poor suction, unable to pick up small crumbs just under the stove or fridge. - Battery did not seem to last as long as it should and took longer to charge than specified. - Carpet picky. Of my three area rugs, only one vacuumed up well and the vacuum seemed to make no progress on the others. - Difficult to disconnect the parts. Pros: - Good maneuverability. - Great array of attachments included - lightweight and sleek design - docking to charge was simple and the option for a spare battery was nice. Ultimately, I opted to return and try something else. Comparing this vacuum to the one Ive owned for 4+ years I felt like there had to be something better out there.

> 3 dayI would like to start with the fact that I absolutely loved this vacuum when I first set it up and used it. The suction and overall ease of use is great. BUT. The battery life is terrible and it only lasted a few minutes.. the first time using it. Backstory: After originally taking it out of the box and setting it up, I let it charge for about an hour or two before using it. I then took it off the dock to use it for the first time and it died after a few min. I thought, ok, maybe I didn’t let it charge long enough. I put it back on the charger to charge for another 4 hours, took it off to try using it again and had the same issue. I was frustrated but wanted to give it another chance, so I detached the battery from the vacuum entirely and put it on the extra battery charging dock, made sure the charging lights showed it was charging, and let it charge up overnight and throughout the next morning (easily over 12 hours of charging). When i went to use it again today, I made sure the dustbin and everything was empty and all parts were clean and ready to go. This only made a small difference, as the battery only lasted for about 15-20 min before dying again. I didn’t even get to finish just my downstairs floors on a full charge. They are also hardwood so it’s not having to used extra sucking power like it would on carpet. I have talked to Amazon once, and the manufacturer customer service twice. Amazon wants me to return the whole thing entirely instead of issuing me a new battery like I requested - which is just a huge hassle and inconvenience-, and the manufacturer is making it as difficult as possible to just get a replacement battery sent. Overall - this has not been the best purchase experience. I love how this vacuum works and want to give it the benefit of the doubt that maybe it’s just a faulty battery, but the process of trying to get it resolved/get a battery replacement almost makes it not worth it. The battery is supposed to last at least 40 min and it doesn’t even last half of that. I can say that I used it on auto-max which does drain the battery faster, but a 15-20 min battery life is not acceptable no matter the case, auto max or not. I could get away with not using auto max on hardwood, but you have to use it on carpet (which is what I have upstairs) and you can’t even finish all of your floors in that small amount of time. I’m hoping for good news and to see a difference with a new battery once I can finally get one.
