06-06-2025I’m in absolute love with this vacuum! It is so easy to use, it does an incredible job cleaning and I like that you can click a button and make it go into max mode for those high traffic areas. We have two dogs that shed a lot and the head light helps illuminate the dirt, dust and hair on the floor so you can make sure you get it all. The only down sides is the trash container is small and with two dogs that means a few extra trips to the trash to empty it. But thankfully it’s super easy to empty. Also that handle is a little heavy because of the battery and trash canister but it’s still lighter than our Kirby.

> 3 dayFor years, I had contemplated purchasing a cordless vacuum for light, everyday cleaning but couldn’t justify the purchase. Corded vacuums are the standard and more powerful, and we already owned a Roomba. Aside from the desire, there are so many options, and without trialing one, I couldn’t pull the trigger. Fast forward to a health issue + trip to visit a friend. As a result of the health issue, I began streamlining chores, and while visiting my friend, she had a Dyson for me to try. I wanted something that could handle evening cleaning and transition from wood to rugs effortlessly. As for the Dyson, it was powerful on boost and effortless to vacuum, but the battery life was lacking. Ergonomically, holding down the trigger the entire cleaning is exhausting. After returning home, I began researching again and came back to this model. I’ve heard others rave (via reviews and word-of-mouth) about this brand, and w/ being rated #1 in a few searches, I took the leap. Only regret: not doing so earlier. PROS: • Light • Easy to steer and swivel • Easy to empty canister • Long battery life (can clean approx. 2000 sq. ft. hardwood + rugs + outdoor doormats) • Picks up adequately on regular mode; more powerful and faster on boost • Picks up close to baseboards • Effortlessly change and remove parts while using • Can consistently use on one charge, even w/ boost • Trigger switch for constant mode vs. holding down to power • Don’t miss fighting cord • Bright light to see mess on floor • Aesthetically pleasing • Generous accessories CONS: • Difficulty picking up larger debri; need to lift vacuum and place over debri to suck up • Sometimes need to unscrew filter to fully empty canister — dirty • Extra battery an investment (approx. 1/5 of price of vacuum) • Doesn’t pick up well under furniture where there’s a small gap for crumbs; must switch attachment • Need to use second battery for “deeper,” longer cleanings • Must switch modes (regular vs. boost) depending on surface Despite any cons, the pros far outweigh them, and I’ve been very pleased w/ my purchase. It checks all the boxes and found I can do more than anticipated, including hitting the outdoor mats. Admittedly, I have not used it much on carpet, but in a pinch, it picks up little things I see if I happen to be using it near a bedroom; still primarily use corded vacuum for this job due to power. If you’re looking for a cordless vacuum for everyday cleaning, this is it. User-intuitive, light, powerful unit that makes cleaning faster and more efficient. Can’t recommend enough.

> 3 dayI can gladly say that I am much more likely to vacuum since I purchased this stick vacuum. The freedom of not having to schlepp around a heavy vacuum and plugging it in is phenomenal! It even has enough power to get all my hardwood floors vacuumed on full power before washing them. It is a fairly lightweight device and handles great. Having two separate heads for hardwood and carpet is almost required and you should make sure to use the right one for the job. The charging station mounts neatly to the wall but I wish there was a mount for the second head. Emptying the bin and cleaning it is straight forward. What I do not like too much is the suction power. It is great at picking up hair and dust but even small debris often gets pushed aside rather than picked up unless you hit it at exactly the right angle. But thats about it! I feel my house is a lot cleaner since I started using this vacuum, simply because it is so much more convenient than a corded counterpart.

> 3 dayUnit died after 4 months and out of warranty. It has clean brand new filters and battery, but will no longer turn on. Used it for general maintenance. Now its a an expensive lemon. Update: Contacted Customer Service and product was actually under warranty. Following some troubleshooting, determined the motor unit was defective. They replaced the motor unit and unit is working as described. Appreciate the quick turnaround and love the product for my hardwood floors.

> 3 dayWe’ve resorted to using an old bag vacuum instead of the Tineco one since the Tineco is so prone to clogging with hair and dust (2 long hair dogs, 3 cats). Since our house is mostly carpet, all of these hairs, dust, and crumbs get deep into the low-pile carpet and the Tineco struggles to get them out — mainly because it immediately gets clogged with pet and wife hair. The cleaning process is not as easy as you would hope either. There are lots of sharp edges inside the dust chamber that can be pretty uncomfortable when trying to get clogs out of the nozzle of the gun. I’ve also gotten a few clogs inside the extension tube and the carpet vacuum head itself. All of these require me to stop what I’m doing, take the vacuum apart including the head of the vacuum, remove all the dust and debris manually, and put it all back together again. I’m used to cleaning vacuums every once and awhile, but I’ve never had one that got clogged this much. The “auto-vacuum power” seems to also get confused. Sometimes it will detect the smallest thing and ramp up to full speed, sometimes I’ll vacuum up what seems like a whole bag of bread crumbs and it’ll stay at the lowest suction the entire time. Overall, I’d say this vacuum is probably *decent* if you have hard wood or low-pile carpet with pets that don’t shed… After this review I’m docking another star from the product. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this to any of my friends and encourage them to buy something stronger instead. ——Original 4 Star Review—— When it first arrived, this vacuum would suck up anything on the first pass. After a few months of use, (cleaning up after four pets) I’ve found that, even when fully cleaned, the vacuum is struggling to pick up things in the carpet or suck up things all the way into the canister. Overall, the charging dock and attachments are amazing. It’s super easy to hang up and charge. All the attachments are easy to replace and get the hard to reach spots with ease (stairs, trim, corners).

> 3 dayBought this to replace an old corded electric broom. Purchase choice was based solely on the Consumer Reports reviews. Well packaged and easy to assemble. Owners manual is clear. The unit is lightweight but appears well engineered to do what it is intended. I immediately ordered two more prefilters and a spare battery which fits on top of the wall mounted charging station. I will not use the phone app. its a vacuum cleaner, people! August 24. I have now been using the Timeco almost daily as it is SO HANDY. I mounted the charging station just outside the door to the garage and it is handy and always ready to use. I routinely vacuum up kitchen crumbs, debris tracked in on the rugs, and so on. I have cleaned miniblinds with it. The attachments work well and fit directly onto the hand unit or you can attach them to the long wand. We used to own an expensive Miele canister vac ($1200!!) that was over-engineered and so clunky and heavy to use IMO. The Tineco vac is thoughtfully engineered, lightweight and well balanced and very easy to use. My only regret is not getting one of these sooner. Get one of these! April 2023 update. Vac has been working great with almost daily use. We used to vacuum everything at once with a corded vac but now we can just grab the vac off the charging station and do the bit that needs vacuuming. A very nice feature I forgot to mention earlier is the circular indicator on top of th motor. This circular blue ring will partially change to red as the unit detects moire dirt being vacuumed. You can be vacuuming a carpet and observe the indicator as it turns red. Continue vacuuming the same spot and the red will reced back to blue. I have found this to be very useful. I clean the pre filter after every bin empty since you have to remove the prefilter anyway in order to relace the bin emptying hatch. Simply pop in the other clean prefilter (you get two) and use the T-shaped prefilter cleaner to clean the dirty one.

Greater than one weekThis vacuum makes it so easy to clean. Very lightweight and the battery lasts a long time. BUT my absolute favorite thing about it is the anti-tangle technology. I had long hair that sheds like crazy.. I used to have to cut my hair out of other vacuums often. Not with this vacuum though! I think ive cut out less than 20 strands the entire time Ive owned it. Its amazing.

> 3 dayMy home is 762 sq feet and my vacuum only last long enough for my bedroom to be vacuumed. Other then that it works great i love to be able to see how it shows you where their is debri. The suction is great as well and to start using it super easy to clear out. Other then the batter i have no complaints. If you have pets get the pet edition trust me the add ons pay off.

> 3 dayI’ve owned them all—Shark, Dyson, and lesser quality brands. I was leery because of all the fake reviews on Amazon these days and all the weird brands. I took the time to write this review to help others—this is the best cordless vacuum cleaner I’ve ever owned. I have 3 dogs, including 2 retrievers. Heavy shedders to say the least. I’ve used this vacuum now for almost a year under heavy conditions and it works better than my floor vacuum. I use it in my truck, carpet, and hardwood floors. It works outstanding with them all. The battery lasts longer than my Dyson, and the suction is still going strong after almost a year now. When you open the box it tells you about downloading their app, no need to do that if you don’t want—I’ve never done it, and this is the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever owned.

Greater than one weekMost times, instructions I find for assembly are insufficient. With his vacuum I think they are overwhelming. I was not expecting have to guess which of the numerous models fall under the same letters. I could not figure where some parts should go. A friend found that not all parts are used in the unit I got. I am disabled-- but not dumb. Once assembled I found the vacuum to be well made and performed very well. If it were easier to assemble I would have given it a higher rating. Highly recommend.
