> 3 dayLove the variable suction so far. Needed a second battery. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and lots of dirt from ongoing house remodeling. Likely dirt levels will be lighter when construction is done. But it cleans great!

> 3 dayThis vacuum makes it easy to clean up the daily messes from my dogs and toddler. Battery life is alright depending on the amount of mess. For deep cleaning though its still best to have a decent corded vacuum around.

> 3 dayThis vacuum is lightweight and convenient, especially for someone with a multiple-story home. I have a Dyson animal ball vac which does an amazing job; unfortunately it’s very heavy to carry up and down the stairs and as someone with tendinitis it can be quite uncomfortable lugging around a full size vac. After doing multiple searches and research into cordless stick vacs, I chose this one. It has good suction, great filtration, and is easy to use. The one caveat I would add, and the reason for four out of five stars, is the fact that I find it difficult to push on textured carpets. Even using the multi-purpose head does not help. I have two area rugs in my home that are the popular “antique look.” They both have a raised design rather than a low profile and the vacuum head “skips” or has difficulty moving forward , but not when I pull it back towards me. I called the number listed in the manual for customer support, hoping that they would be able to offer some advice. Instead I found that the person could barely speak English and I’m pretty sure did not understand my question or the problem . That being said, I like the vacuum and I am going to keep it, but I will be keeping my Dyson for the once a week deep cleaning.

> 3 dayI did a TON of research about different vacuums before deciding to buy this one. Im the kind of person to do extensive research before a big purchase and this vacuum hit all my marks. It is a really good vacuum, and I dont regret buying it at all. However, there are both good and bad things about it. I live in an apartment with both hard floors and carpet and I have a cat. I wanted a vacuum that was good on all floors and was good with pet hair. This vacuum is VERY good with pet hair. My cat sheds like crazy. Every time I use this thing, it picks up a lot. Its good with carpet and hard floors but sometimes the wheels dont rotate enough and theres a little bit of scratching on the hard floors. I dont mind it, though. Its not very often and not intense. The vacuum is relatively quiet compared to others Ive owned and being so small, its easy to store. It doesnt get very close to edges or corners but the plethora of add-ons really help with that. Just snap on the thin nozzle and corners are clean. Its pretty lightweight and and I LOVE the switch that keeps the trigger down for you because after holding down on it for ten minutes, my finger starts to hurt. The charging station (see image) works fine on the floor. As a renter, I was worried Id have to bolt it to a wall. You do not have to. While the small thing is pretty powerful, Id call this a good apartment vacuum. I dont think Id use it to clean a whole house, too much space and the battery can run down low easily. I do 5-10 minutes twice a week and after about two weeks it needs recharging. Supposedly theres an app you can get with this vacuum? Havent touched it. Not necessary. Now, some of the complaints. This vacuum requires *maintenance*. I have long hair and if I dont cut out the hair after a few uses, the vacuum goes nuts with extra suction. In addition, the dust sensor essentially just tracks how much suction the vacuum thinks it needs to use to pick up dirt. That being said, I have found this vacuum does NOT work on my bathroom rug or thick carpets which might easily create a suction problem. The entire dust sensor lights up red and the vacuum has a little panic attack. Better on standard or flat carpets or hard floors. DEFINITELY follow all the maintenance and cleaning rules. After having the vacuum about a month, I was wondering why it suddenly using lots more suction and causing a fit. The pre-filter in the vacuum was ridden with dust and needed to be washed, but thats on me. Problem mostly cleared up after that. Definitely empty the dust collector after every use and you may need to reach inside to pull out clumps of hair or fuzz. If the vacuum does have a problem (ie extra suction, not spinning, stuck on floor) I give it a good clean, remove any hair, and turn it off and on. That seems to do the trick. Overall, I like this vacuum and its good for an apartment with a cat. Its not perfect and a little pricey but splitting it three ways with my roommates makes it worth it. Happy with my purchase!

> 3 dayThis is a really nice stick vacuum. I got an extra battery but the battery life is really quite good as long as you dont use the max power mode too much. I really like the feature that shows how dirty an area is so you know where to put in the effort. We have a German Shepherd and Siberian Forest Cat and they are all-pro shedders. Tineco Pure does a great job keeping up with the hair. Using an attachment to clean one of the two provided filters is an ingenious way of thumping filters against the nearest trash can to dislodge dirt. Worth the money as long as it lasts a couple of years.

16-04-2025I needed a cordless vac for the carpeted stairs in my 4 level condo as well as a mini vac for my car or small cleanups. I read tons of reviews and all seemed to have issues (too heavy or the on/off button had to be manually depressed at all times, for instance). What they all had in common was a short battery life (30 to 40 minutes), and attachments for mini vac needs, furniture, corners, etc. The newest Consumer Reports magazine had just come out and featured vacuum cleaners. The Tineco Pure One-S11 stick vacuum received its #1 rating, so I ordered one. First of all, it looks like something out of a Star Wars movie and is surprisingly light (I weigh under 100 pounds and have no trouble with it). It is also built to twist and turn, so very highly maneuverable when on stairs. It has a lock feature that enables you to leave it on without having to keep depressing the on switch. It also has a high suction feature that runs down the battery faster, but is a great option for deep cleans. It is cleverly put together so can be taken apart easily for clean up, though the instructions were a bit confusing to me initially and I had to rely on my intuitive sense (I am not a big techie - maybe not a problem for most people). Customer service is super nice and go out of their way to help and follow up, if needed. The unit looks big when mounted on the wall and charging, but the extra parts can be stored on the base unit (they click on and off to remove), so out of the way. The filter can be removed after each use and put in a little unit and the vacuum cleans it in seconds - so filter is very easy to clean. I have not purchased a 2nd battery yet, but probably will, along with a long, narrow wand that looks like it might go further into hard to reach places. The charging unit has a place on top that will charge another battery after the one in the unit is fully charged. I couldnt believe what it found on my stairs!! Really a deep clean that made me realize how inadequate my lugging around my corded vacuum was. I think the best feature is that when there is a small amount or light dust, the blue light on the top stays blue - when it encounters more dust/dirt, it turns red, meaning you need to stay on that spot for longer until it goes all blue again - extremely cool and very useful. The only downside is probably not limited to Tineco, but battery life is 30 to 40 minutes and it takes 2 to 3 hours to recharge, and while the clean up is made easier by the filter cleaner, you still need to wipe out the inside plastic components, of which some parts are not that easy to get to. But all in all, I love it and my stairs have never been cleaner! I plan on vacuuming furniture next (couches, etc).

> 3 dayJust as heavy and non-ergonomic as my last Dyson v6. Much MUCH quieter. Excellent suction and cleaning quality. Slightly less maneuverability/flexibility but overall great. Haven’t tried the app yet, probably could have gotten the A-series instead of the S-series because I really don’t plan to.

> 3 dayBought this Tineco Pure One S11 after seeing that it earned Consumer Reports Highest Rating for Cordless Stick Vacs, to replace a Dyson V8 Cordless Stick Vac which had a failed battery after 3 years. Consumer Reports made it seem like this would be a better replacement. Pure ONE S11 is quiet, and easy to handle, but its suction is less than I wanted. Picks up dust and cat hair, but litter box litter gets spread around on the floor and I have to go over it several times to get it all. I reached out to Tineco Customer Service and they suggested trying the AutoMax Button for maximum suction; It works! Now when I hit an area of litter box gravel one push of the AutoMax Button and it goes into turbo mode and picks up everything. Its one negative feature is cleaning the canister, debris does not come out easily and usually have to remove filter by hand (a messy process) clean it and re-install. They dust bin has numerous nooks and crannies where dirt builds up, and it is hard to clean. I wish they would re-design this part. We had a Dyson V8 prior to this, and it suffered from premature battery failure. Ill not buy another Dyson, their customer service was less than stellar. Purchased a second battery for the Tineco which makes it possible to do the entire house, mostly tile floors, one charge will just about do the entire house, 1900 sqft. Consumer Reports does not at this time recommend ANY cordless stick vac, due to issues of early battery failure. But until a better product is made, this Tineco Pure ONE S11 is the best there is.

> 3 dayThis is one of the best purchases Ive made in the past year. It is going to replace my Shark vacuum for almost everything I need. I wanted to avoid dragging a cord everywhere. I wanted a lightweight machine, easy charging and storage. I have a dog. It picks up her hair effortlessly from the floor and furniture. The swivel head on the large head make getting into awkward spaces. The low profile head make it easy to get under most furniture easy and moving chairs and sofa unnecessary except when you need a complete cleaning. I wish the dust bin were a bit larger, but it is easy to remove and clean. It wont do a whole house on a single charge, bit it will easily handle two rooms. Considering that Ill be using it for years paying a little more is well worth it.

> 3 dayI bought this vacuum in the hopes that going cord-free would make vacuuming less of a chore. Tineco has surpassed my expectations! I used to dread vacuuming on the weekend, but with the S15, vacuuming is so easy (and almost fun) that I vacuum high traffic areas daily. I had not heard of Tineco, but I bought it based on NYTs Wirecutter, whose recommendations have never steered me wrong. Wirecutter recommended the cheaper S11, but I went with S15 because I hate dealing with tangled hair. The S15 handles my hair perfectly. When I was researching Tineco, I thought the smart feature sounded gimmicky. However, its actually very helpful having the pink/red light come on when the floor is particularly dirty, and I like that the suction increases automatically if necessary. I now realize that with my old vacuum, I was leaving a lot of dirt behind. I also like how easy it is to dump the dirt out! Theres a trap door where it falls out, and a lever that pushes it down if some help is needed. With my old vacuum, I had to reach in every time to get out clumps of dirt, and it was so gross to touch and breathe in that stuff. There are 2 negatives, but I think theyre standard with on stick vacuums: It feels a bit heavier in my hand than I would like. And the battery doesnt last long enough to do my entire house; only maybe 1,000 square feet. Neither of these things bother me that much. I dont mind taking a break during the vacuuming.
