> 3 dayThis is my first stick vacuum. Before this I had a Hoover Platinum Upright -- I call that the King of Vacuums. However, with the whole Covid, its in storage and we are temporarily living elsewhere in a good-sized apartment whose floors are about evenly split between laminate and low-pile carpet. I looked for a vacuum that would meet our needs, but maybe not overlap with the Hoover so when the two are united, both might have a place in our home. Good choice. This vacuum is terrific. Pros: - Capably handles both carpet and laminate with no problems. - Very maneuverable (much more so than my upright), which is handy as the edge cleaning isnt fantastic -- I can quickly shift to using the front of the vacuum where its better. - Very easy to shift between hand-held and stick. I found myself doing that last time I vacuumed -- quickly switching at the end to get some places in-between the furniture and the wall. - Power management -- this ramps up the speed when you are in areas where it finds more dirt. This sounded like a gimmick when I read about it, but in practice its seemless and very effective, and I appreciate it given it helps with the balance between battery duration, vacuum cleaner weight, and suction power. Clever and well implemented. - I can see the dirt. Ok- I never thought I would like this, but its actually very handy. Did that piece of cardboard I was uncertain about and vacuumed anyway make it up to the unit? Oh- there it is stuck around the brush, and oh there it just made it up to the hand-held portion. Will this handle that pistachio shell? Look, I can see it in the thing. This is really, really handy. Cons: - Light, but not light enough. I can very comfortably wield this at length, but Im a big guy. My wife, on the other hand, is more petite of maybe average height. I asked her if we might just use this at our new place and her response was that she likes it and will use it, but its too heavy to clean a house with. Somebody needs to figure out how to mount the battery nearer the floor to maybe shift the center of gravity- thats the winner. - The connectivity is gimmicky and not useful. I dont need a different app telling me its time to vacuum, or that I need to empty the thing, etc. I cant see this being useful for anyone. - The thing cant stand on its own. Youre vacuuming around -- oh, here, lets shift that chair. Oh- where do I prop this thing up awkwardly while I do that? - I wish there were a good option for not mounting. - Its kind of spendy, and Im now not convinced the Tango model was worth it. This thing is as expensive as my Hoover Platinum upright, and while I called that the King of Vacuums, its truly more like the Emperor. Anyway- bottom line is this: I like it and it meets our needs. The pros very much outweigh the cons in my situation, and the connectivity con is more like a feature nobody needs, where if I were to buy this again, Id simply choose a less-expensive model without it (if that exists). In our new home this will handle stairs, spot cleaning, and single-room cleaning. The rest goes to the Emperor.

Greater than one weekI was so impressed with certain qualities of this vacuum - but ultimately, it failed to satisfy our use case. For context, we have about 2000 sq ft of wall to wall carpet throughout the house and another 1500 sq ft or so of hardwood with a couple of medium sized area rugs. PROS: - suction power is impressive, to the point where if youre near the edge of an area rug, itll actually try to pick the rug up. Tt can also feel tricky at first to push the vacuum through carpet, because the suction is so powerful - however, once I got used to the geometry and how low to hold the handle, this wasnt a problem, as such. - the way the large brush roll easily separates from the whole brush roll housing is genius. I have a wife and three girls all with longish hair, so the ability to take this piece out and just slide the hair off the end of the brush roll is such an improvement over other vacuums weve had where you essentially have to cut the hair down the length off the brush roll in order to get it off. - having an actual docking station is a nice feature - if you have the floor space for it near an outlet CONS: - the battery is the major issue here. Though advertised as up to 40 minutes runtime, I suspect this figure is taken by running the vacuum in handheld mode (no lower attachment), with minimal obstruction. (disclosure - the subsequent research Ive done leads me to believe this is actually of an industry standard for this measurement). In actual use, with the brush roll assembly, I was able to get between 13 and 17 minutes runtime. - the automatic dust detection/suctions power adjustment feature is a neat idea, but I think its also the main contributor to the battery life issue. I found that on carpets and area rugs alike, the vacuum would run on near max suction exclusively. I even ran some testing where I vacuumed a small section of our carpeted bedroom for several minutes - I would have thought that eventually it would adjust from high suction to lower (once the area was vacuumed), but it never actually did. So what initially seemed like smart efficiency tool, ended up being my main gripe with the vacuum. CONSLUSION: Our primary concern was that the short battery life made vacuuming the entire house a multi-day process, where we could do two or three rooms, then recharge the battery for four hours, do a couple more rooms, recharge, etc. Id imagine that if you had a small/midsized apartment with most/all hardwood floors, this could be a real winner for you.

> 3 dayLove the variable suction so far. Needed a second battery. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and lots of dirt from ongoing house remodeling. Likely dirt levels will be lighter when construction is done. But it cleans great!

> 3 dayI’ve been using this for a few months now and it is fabulous. We have vinyl plank flooring with rugs. Live on a ranch and also have a toddler so we’re using it daily, often multiple times a day. The only drawback is it doesn’t do SUPER well on carpet/rugs but we use our standard vacuum for that. This cleans up dirt and debris on hard flooring and the light makes it easy to see pet hair and dirt/sand. Never had the battery die and we vacuum multiple rooms. And the attachments are great too. Plus it’s not that loud which is great as our toddler is alarmed by things like blenders, standard vacuum etc. It also doesn’t bother our flighty cats. When you don’t have time to constantly break out the broom and dust pan, this does the trick. Also great to suck up stuff in the car seat, the play area, etc with the multiple attachments.

> 3 dayHi - I dont typically leave product reviews but Ive been so impressed with this vacuum! I have a 1200 square foot apartment with vintage and delicate hardwood floors. Id been looking for a vacuum for a while that I can use on the hardwood without harming it. The hardwood floor attachment on this vacuum is perfect. Also, I cant say enough about how handy it is to have a lightweight cordless vacuum. No cord or plug-ins to worry about. You just pick this up and go - almost as light and easy as a broom. And, unlike a broom, this vacuum gets ALL the dust. Previously I was sweeping my whole apartment weekly and mopping it once a month - and I still constantly had dust and dirt on the floors. With this vacuum I can clean all the floors and rugs in about 30 minutes once or twice a week, and I plan on mopping only about once every 6 months (except the kitchen and bathroom - which I still mop weekly). If you live in cold climates and need to clean the snow salt off your entry way rugs every day - this vacuum also does the trick. Again, its just as quick and light as a broom. You can grab it and clean your entryway rugs in just a couple of minutes. The battery charge really does last 40 minutes. The different attachments all come on and off easily, and the vacuum easily converts into a hand-held vacuum thats great for couches, benches, chairs, etc. The only downside for this particular model is that the handheld function isnt particularly great for vacuuming up dust on solid furniture (such as dressers or shelves), but thats best done with a damp rag anyways. I was nervous about making such a large purchase and worried that it wouldnt actually work very well, but this turned out to be a good purchase.

> 3 dayBattery on my Dyson V7 was dying so I shopped around for a replacement. Seriously considered buying another Dyson, but wanted to consider newer technology. After 1 month of use, I believe this vacuum is better than the Dyson. It’s nice to have the LED light and especially the trigger lock(unlike the Dyson). The automatic dirt sensor controls the speed of the motor! Lastly, the battery life is excellent!

> 3 dayIve had my Shark Rocket corded stick for about 4 years. As much as Ive loved it, I really wanted to upgrade to something cordless with better attachments. The design, packaging and quality all exceeded my expectations. For context, I have a very small house that usually takes 20 minutes to fully vacuum. Its all vinyl wood with three area rugs, two very low pile (washable) and one a longer shag length rug. I also have two dogs, short haired, that do shed, but their hair doesnt really stick to anything so its always been easy to vacuum. Cons: - poor suction, unable to pick up small crumbs just under the stove or fridge. - Battery did not seem to last as long as it should and took longer to charge than specified. - Carpet picky. Of my three area rugs, only one vacuumed up well and the vacuum seemed to make no progress on the others. - Difficult to disconnect the parts. Pros: - Good maneuverability. - Great array of attachments included - lightweight and sleek design - docking to charge was simple and the option for a spare battery was nice. Ultimately, I opted to return and try something else. Comparing this vacuum to the one Ive owned for 4+ years I felt like there had to be something better out there.

> 3 dayBought this to replace an old corded electric broom. Purchase choice was based solely on the Consumer Reports reviews. Well packaged and easy to assemble. Owners manual is clear. The unit is lightweight but appears well engineered to do what it is intended. I immediately ordered two more prefilters and a spare battery which fits on top of the wall mounted charging station. I will not use the phone app. its a vacuum cleaner, people! August 24. I have now been using the Timeco almost daily as it is SO HANDY. I mounted the charging station just outside the door to the garage and it is handy and always ready to use. I routinely vacuum up kitchen crumbs, debris tracked in on the rugs, and so on. I have cleaned miniblinds with it. The attachments work well and fit directly onto the hand unit or you can attach them to the long wand. We used to own an expensive Miele canister vac ($1200!!) that was over-engineered and so clunky and heavy to use IMO. The Tineco vac is thoughtfully engineered, lightweight and well balanced and very easy to use. My only regret is not getting one of these sooner. Get one of these! April 2023 update. Vac has been working great with almost daily use. We used to vacuum everything at once with a corded vac but now we can just grab the vac off the charging station and do the bit that needs vacuuming. A very nice feature I forgot to mention earlier is the circular indicator on top of th motor. This circular blue ring will partially change to red as the unit detects moire dirt being vacuumed. You can be vacuuming a carpet and observe the indicator as it turns red. Continue vacuuming the same spot and the red will reced back to blue. I have found this to be very useful. I clean the pre filter after every bin empty since you have to remove the prefilter anyway in order to relace the bin emptying hatch. Simply pop in the other clean prefilter (you get two) and use the T-shaped prefilter cleaner to clean the dirty one.

Greater than one weekBought this Tineco Pure One S11 after seeing that it earned Consumer Reports Highest Rating for Cordless Stick Vacs, to replace a Dyson V8 Cordless Stick Vac which had a failed battery after 3 years. Consumer Reports made it seem like this would be a better replacement. Pure ONE S11 is quiet, and easy to handle, but its suction is less than I wanted. Picks up dust and cat hair, but litter box litter gets spread around on the floor and I have to go over it several times to get it all. I reached out to Tineco Customer Service and they suggested trying the AutoMax Button for maximum suction; It works! Now when I hit an area of litter box gravel one push of the AutoMax Button and it goes into turbo mode and picks up everything. Its one negative feature is cleaning the canister, debris does not come out easily and usually have to remove filter by hand (a messy process) clean it and re-install. They dust bin has numerous nooks and crannies where dirt builds up, and it is hard to clean. I wish they would re-design this part. We had a Dyson V8 prior to this, and it suffered from premature battery failure. Ill not buy another Dyson, their customer service was less than stellar. Purchased a second battery for the Tineco which makes it possible to do the entire house, mostly tile floors, one charge will just about do the entire house, 1900 sqft. Consumer Reports does not at this time recommend ANY cordless stick vac, due to issues of early battery failure. But until a better product is made, this Tineco Pure ONE S11 is the best there is.

15-04-2025So far I’m really liking this vacuum. It has really great suction. Great for hardwood or solid surface flooring. I couldn’t believe how much dust and hair was on my supposedly “clean” floor. Attachments are great and easy to take on and off, and they actually lock in so they don’t randomly fall out. It does come with a couple of cons… For starters. That battery is capable, but it’s definitely not the best. It drains pretty quickly if max suction is turned on. Definitely recommend a second battery. Secondly, the power brush has no height adjustments. It makes it hard to vacuum on taller area rugs or carpet. In all I’m very impressed. Impressed enough to write an Amazon review which is saying a lot coming from me.
