> 3 dayOur Dyson cordless vac recently had issues and no replacement parts seemed to fix the problem. So did some research and found this Tineco recommended by Wirecutter. Figured it was worth a try, especially since it doesnt cost as much as a Dyson! Were so shocked by how quiet it is! The first week or so of using it, we thought it wasnt on because it ran so quietly. We love the light that helps us see dirt in corners and under furniture. The dust monitor is interesting as well -- it supposedly measures the amount of dust in the area youre vacuuming to help you get a more thorough clean. Assembly was super easy, all the parts snap together well. The dust bin took a bit of finagling to figure out, but thats mainly because its different from Dysons style. The charger is also nice. You can take the battery off the main vacuum or charge it without removing it. But best of all... the switch you can flip to keep pressing the on button! My fingers rejoice, no more pain trying to press the button constantly for a long cleaning session! I do wish it had suction closer to the edges of the main vacuum attachment. I have to go back over our stairs with the detailer to get dust stuck in the corners.

> 3 dayThis appears to be an excellent vacuum cleaner. It picks up well, has HEPA filtration, easy emptying, light weight, and a nice assortment of accessories. Customer service was very responsive and helpful in some problems I had locating the serial number so that I could register the product. The only problem is that, although the webpage confirmed that my product had been registered, I was unable to login on the iPhone app with the same user name and password. Apparently, login credentials work some places but not others within Tineco sites / apps. But overall, though I havent used the machine long, it is performing well, and is a whole lot better than the old corded, heavy one I had.

> 3 dayI never write reviews, but I will cause this was the smartest decision we made since we got a white husky malamute added to our house. Never experienced greatness until I could voluntarily vacuum ten times a day with no complaints. Great customer service too!

> 3 dayUnit works great, but when we first opened up the box the vacuum was used. There was hair in the heads and dust and dirt in the container. Sad that paid for a new unit and got a used one. Unfortunately I purchased this for my camp and did not open it until after the return period was over.

> 3 dayI bought this vacuum a year ago, after using a competitors for years. Its a competent and versatile tool. I like it even better now, as I had a latch to the dust bin break recently. Once I identified that broken part, and provided Tineco with my proof of purchase info, they sent a replacement part promptly. No fuss. Tineco stands behind their product, and I applaud that.

> 3 dayIt is very good, with a great power to take all dust from carpets, and very easy to use and clean. Battery takes almost 4 hours to get fully charged, and lasts around 30 minutes, so maybe an extra battery would be helpful to clean all house without interruption.

11-06-2025This is my first stick vacuum. Before this I had a Hoover Platinum Upright -- I call that the King of Vacuums. However, with the whole Covid, its in storage and we are temporarily living elsewhere in a good-sized apartment whose floors are about evenly split between laminate and low-pile carpet. I looked for a vacuum that would meet our needs, but maybe not overlap with the Hoover so when the two are united, both might have a place in our home. Good choice. This vacuum is terrific. Pros: - Capably handles both carpet and laminate with no problems. - Very maneuverable (much more so than my upright), which is handy as the edge cleaning isnt fantastic -- I can quickly shift to using the front of the vacuum where its better. - Very easy to shift between hand-held and stick. I found myself doing that last time I vacuumed -- quickly switching at the end to get some places in-between the furniture and the wall. - Power management -- this ramps up the speed when you are in areas where it finds more dirt. This sounded like a gimmick when I read about it, but in practice its seemless and very effective, and I appreciate it given it helps with the balance between battery duration, vacuum cleaner weight, and suction power. Clever and well implemented. - I can see the dirt. Ok- I never thought I would like this, but its actually very handy. Did that piece of cardboard I was uncertain about and vacuumed anyway make it up to the unit? Oh- there it is stuck around the brush, and oh there it just made it up to the hand-held portion. Will this handle that pistachio shell? Look, I can see it in the thing. This is really, really handy. Cons: - Light, but not light enough. I can very comfortably wield this at length, but Im a big guy. My wife, on the other hand, is more petite of maybe average height. I asked her if we might just use this at our new place and her response was that she likes it and will use it, but its too heavy to clean a house with. Somebody needs to figure out how to mount the battery nearer the floor to maybe shift the center of gravity- thats the winner. - The connectivity is gimmicky and not useful. I dont need a different app telling me its time to vacuum, or that I need to empty the thing, etc. I cant see this being useful for anyone. - The thing cant stand on its own. Youre vacuuming around -- oh, here, lets shift that chair. Oh- where do I prop this thing up awkwardly while I do that? - I wish there were a good option for not mounting. - Its kind of spendy, and Im now not convinced the Tango model was worth it. This thing is as expensive as my Hoover Platinum upright, and while I called that the King of Vacuums, its truly more like the Emperor. Anyway- bottom line is this: I like it and it meets our needs. The pros very much outweigh the cons in my situation, and the connectivity con is more like a feature nobody needs, where if I were to buy this again, Id simply choose a less-expensive model without it (if that exists). In our new home this will handle stairs, spot cleaning, and single-room cleaning. The rest goes to the Emperor.

> 3 dayTL;DR: Bought on sale cyber monday, shouldve bought a spare battery then. Go ahead and get a spare battery for the deeper cleaning days! I can normally cover ~2800sq/ft (hard to guess tbh, not sure how big the downstairs is, but it does account for most of the house, and is mostly tile/hardwood) in 25ish minutes and be fine, but if Ive been lazy and the cats have been shedding, one battery wont quite make it (but itll be close). I really like this vacuum! Other things of note: If you run it wide open (max suction) the battery will last maybe 10 minutes. You do not need to do this however unless the situation calls for it. let it decide. You need to clean the dust filter often (This goes for many vacuums, not just this one), I normally do it after every full-downstairs vacuum because it comes with a spare, and itll normally be dry by the time I want to use it again. Takes about 1 minute total to clean, so theres no reason not to do this. Thats it. Its a great vacuum for what I wanted it for, light to medium duty frequent use so I dont have to bust out the plug-in dyson and drag that thing all over the place. For carpet heavy environments, you want something plug-in period, this is not a great main unit for a carpet heavy environment. For all hard floors it would be great. We have 3 cats and two small children, so theres always something that needs vacuuming and I wanted a reasonably powerful cordless vac to hit the proverbial high spots, and this more than meets those relatively low requirements. As stated above, I can usually cover the whole downstairs on a single charge, occasionally if theres excessive crud (because someone hasnt been running it regularly) I have to grab the second battery, or if were doing a more deep cleaning around the furniture and pulling stuff out from the wall, it comes in handy (think multiple canister dumpings and what not). Its very easy to break down and clean.. I probably shouldve read the instructions but nah. I have not clogged the dust filter to a point where the vacuum constantly runs in high vacuum mode (this is a complaint I read about from other users), and I keep it clean to avoid that situation. This is something one should do with their corded vacuums as well, as it greatly cuts down on the available power if neglected (and causes a higher instance of dust circulation rather than capture). The included tools are mostly helpful for the situations that require them, not much else to say there. I dont see the point of the dust filter cleaner attachment since youd just be clogging up the other filter, instead I wash them by hand in the sink by running water down the middle (backwards), and let em dry til the next use. easy peasy.

Greater than one weekThis is easy to put together and works well. I dont think it has the suction for a really heavy mess, but all in all, I love it. What surprised me is how really quiet it is. At first, I thought it wasnt working. This is a winner.
