UPDATE: Third year of use. Still absolutely love this product. It is super easy, super adjustable. Im about to buy another cause new A/C came with an included shelf/bracket like this custom made for the unit. It is junk and Im throwing it out. I slid this one back in place and all is good. Remember to buy yours in the fall when the prices are low. It is spring and the price is jacked up over $100. I take it down and store it each year. Another tip, mark the hole you used when you bring it in for the year cause you will likely store it compressed and hate to have to go through hanging out the window and readjusting to find the right hole. One more, some of these reviews complaining the adjustment pins dont line up with both sides. Ignore this. They are designed that way to allows more precision and less slippage. It will cost you a little on install and storage time but makes it fit oh so perfectly in most any window. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Engineer here. I really like the design of this product. I never thought this could be this easy. No tools needed, adjust to fit window with size adjustment holes and place it in the window. Placed A/C in place, super sturdy. Never had my A/C this well supported ever. Added one piece of insulation, far less then I usually add each year with adhoc supports. For all the different windows out there, this thing is really well designed to fit most. I dont expect it to be perfect as the task here is tough. BUY.

It looks like a high-quality item, but it did not work for my window. Build quality is very good, almost over-engineered. The only issue that I have with this bracket is that for the type of window this would work for, you probably wouldnt even need such a heavy-duty bracket, since windows with adequate ledges can bear the weight of an air conditioner far better than those without. For those types of windows, there are far cheaper options (shims, 2 x 4s, etc) that would do the job just fine. Also, based upon the description and my measurements, this *should* have worked for me, but unfortunately, it did not - my ledge was just a hair too shallow. This possibility is something you might want to keep in mind, because returning it will be really inconvenient, should you need to. I do wish this would have worked. With this bracket, you could put a really big air conditioner in your window and rest secure knowing that it would be well supported. If a bracket is required by your HOA or apartment complex, this is the one. It really is a very nice bracket. Even though I had to return it, I give it five stars overall.

This was the easiest AC bracket I have ever installed (took me like maybe a minute or two), and my AC is definitely not going anywhere. Im totally inept when it comes to assembling anything, even with detailed instructions, so this bracket was such a pleasant surprise. Well worth the money.

This is a great bracket that doesnt require any drilling whatsoever, which was one of the biggest priorities for me when searching brackets online. I live in a rental and wanted to avoid doing any permanent damage to the window sills from drilling holes. Also, Ive been able to move the bracket around to different windows with the greatest of ease when figuring out the proper spot for the AC. Other pluses of this bracket: Easy to take out during the winter Enough adjustments to get the right width and angle of the AC unit Plenty of support for my 12,000 BTU unit Really easy to assemble Peace of mind when installing a heavy unit alone Few notes: My AC unit wasnt as flush and snug in the window as it usually is without a bracket, but I feel like this is usually the case with most brackets. I highly recommend buying some AC insulation foam to place behind the panels and to stuff underneath the bracket in order to fill in any gaps. Also, it may take a few tries to get the right angle. My AC is not totally flat underneath so I had to readjust a couple of times to get it right.

I dont understand how people have an issue with this thing.. I didnt even need the instructions.. How the mechanism worked was very self explanatory. And no i do not have built up siding on the house. I had it put together and installed in my window in about 5-6 minutes (had to tweak the length on the two arms to get it straight and tight). And that was just because I didnt double look when I first put it up so that was all on me, I think I could have been done faster with some more thinking capacity lol. All in all my AC was in my window in 10 minutes. Oh and dont get discouraged if it says it wont ship UNTIL a certain date.. I was heart broken when I saw that I wouldnt get it until next week. However seller contacted me to ENSURE it would fit my window since that has been the complaint, I double checked my measurements and said yes I commit to the purchase THEN he charged my account and shipped my unit on Monday (I ordered it Saturday or Sunday) and I got it today.. It is sturdy, well balanced, and SOOOO easy.. Worth every penny to me. I have a feeling this one will last many years..

The bracket is easy to put together and put into the window. I have two ac units - a heavier Frigidaire and a smaller Haier. After reading the reviews here I opted to use this with the smaller Haier. It slid onto the bracket with ease, and there was still space left on the sides and front of bracket so the unit is totally supported. The bracket is well packaged and the instructions are clear. This was a must for me as I did not want to drill holes and I live on a high floor where cars are parked underneath the window. It costs more but is worth saving the headache of using tools, when installing an ac unit is a hassle in and of itself. I would definitely recommend this to anyone living in an apartment who needs the added security of a bracket, and doesnt have the time or know how for putting together additional tools for their ac unit.

Fit great, supports our large ac. We did install a block of wood between the frame and the window, and did end up drilling two small holes for the wings but I didnt mind - worth it for the peace of mind.

It took some time to figure out how to adjust it. Instructions says to put sides in the third hole. Found out that meant third from the shortest setting. After that, I got it in place. As a former welder, I can appreciate the construction of it. My window frame is not the best for it, but got it to work. Placed a 2x6x24 piece of redwood under the AC unit to keep it from tipping too much. Will work better after I anchor the wooden piece. It will give me peace of mind that my A/C unit is well supported and should not put a strain on my apartments window frame.

This mount is a very heavy/sturdy piece of hardware. It adjusted and mounted easily. It definitely made installing my 10,000 BTU air conditioner much simpler. My only complaint is sealing up the gap around the bottom on the ac unit and finding a way to hold the side flaps against the window frame. Overall I am satisfied with the mount and I am considering purchasing another one,

Finally, easy to install window air conditioning support bracket that installs in minutes from the inside and doesn’t require any drilling, tools hardware or fasteners. Just attach the wings and legs, place in the window and the installation is complete.
