Greater than one weekThings you should be aware of: 1) According to the manufacturer, even though it appears on Amazon as if this is being sold by the manufacturer it isnt, and shame on Amazon for not including.... 2) The product is not compatible with the type of heavy window unit where the sleeve and the chassis (the guts of the AC) are two separate pieces. The only way you find this out is by visiting the manufacturers store page on their website. 3) Product is dead easy to install but you will need to insulate the trough behind the adjustment brackets otherwise youll have free flowing air through your window underneath your AC. 4) Excellent customer service from the manufacturer despite the fact that I did not buy from him. The three stars is less for the quality of the product than it is for the experience I had with purchasing then finding out I cant use, or now return because the packaging is already gone.

> 3 dayI had my old windows replaced with vinyl after air conditioner season last year. When I recently went to install my ACs, I discovered they no longer would mount the way they used to without the support of the old storm window housing along with not being able to drill into the new window sash or sill. I had no idea what I was going to do until I saw this product. It is absolutely perfect for my application. It took less than two minutes to put the pieces together and get ready to install. I was impressed with the sturdiness of the bracket and the way it locked down by moving the legs closer to the exterior of the house one click at a time. By the time I was ready to hoist the AC onto it, I had 100% confidence the bracket would stay firmly in place. As an added bonus, the thinner layers of packaging material make for excellent flexible insulation around the areas where gaps will ocur below and to the side of the unit. Also, because I have vinyl siding, I used some of the styrofoam to put between the feet and the house.

> 3 dayThis AC support was easy to assemble and install. No drilling required was the best part. This support made installing a 160lb window AC much much easier. Make you measure your AC prior to purchasing this AC support. Take note of the recommended usage. Reach out if you have questions. You may be able to still use it if you have a 2 piece AC.

> 3 dayThis was incredibly easy to put together and install. I have an older home with wooden windows, it fits great and is very sturdy. I have a 10k BTU ac on it right now and it is great. Im very happy with my purchase, if only everything was as simple!

> 3 dayThis Black & Decker bracket is very well made, and we thought it was exactly what we wanted for easy mount and dismount of our tiny A/C unit, which we only use 2½ mos out of the year. Unfortunately, it sounds more like a universal fit than it really is, regardless of the many adjustments you can make for both the interior and exterior wings/legs (half stops for the exterior = wonderful). Though we finally found a place for the gripper feet on the exterior legs to lay flat against our siding, it left the bracket at an incline instead of a decline, which is of course the opposite of what you want with an air conditioner because of condensate concerns. We tried numerous times (literally a dozen different adjustments!) to get it to work, but it was impossible for it to be snug on the frame inside and at the proper angle outside. Plus, it left huge gaps beneath the A/C unit on both sides. Also, we feel it was made for larger units and that this should be noted. We purchased the very popular and best-selling Frigidaire unit here on Amazon, which is tiny and only 40 lbs. It just barely fit (like by a mere half inch) when centered on the bracket, and kept slipping between the vertical legs/supports—to the extent that we went online to look for rubbery bits to apply to either the A/C or the bracket, and then we thought, What are we doing?! This just wont work for us. Amazon processed our return without a hitch. (And honestly, later drilling three holes in the bottom of our vinyl-clad window was absolutely NO big deal—and it left no gaps.) Bottom line: Its well made, and an attractive color (the dark grey). But know that even if you measure all surfaces and areas, and everything looks as though it will be a perfect fit, its still possible this bracket is not going to work for you. However, Id still recommend it if you have a more standard size A/C unit and a flatter exterior surface like brick or stucko. Siding is tough because of the way the rows cut off, and you just wont know if this will work until you have it in your hands for a trial. Thankfully Amazon is good with returns if youre prompt with your trials.

> 3 dayThe unit is good quality and sturdy. Installed easily in vinyl replacement windows. My ac unit does not have a flat bottom, and so sits unevenly on support. This also effects the moisture draining.

> 3 dayWe are so happy with this product. Sturdy, Strong, Reliable, quick to assemble and very easy to use. Holds the air conditioner in the appropriate position at the appropriate angle. The feet that rest against your house/apartment/office have silicone nobs as to not damage siding. Another great feature about the feet is they are flexible to accommodate different types of siding. The legs have several adjustment options for any angle needed and securely lock into place. I definitely recommend this product if you plan to put an air conditioner in an upper storey home/apartment/office window. We tried several others that werent terrible but none compared to the sturdiness and peace of mind this Bracket provided. Youll also notice your air conditioner will run quieter because it is sturdy.

> 3 dayConceptually, I think this is a great product. I really wanted to like it and make it work. Other reviewers have also mentioned they measured their windows and it didnt fit. I did the same. Based on measurements, it shouldve fit but didnt. If you have standard windows and are looking for an AC brace, I highly recommend. For the most part it was easy to put together. Mine showed up a bit scratched, which I noticed as I put it together. Also, when purchased I purchased under the TopShelf link but the Black & Decker branded one showed up. I guess they have a partnership but I can imagine it being confusing for some customers.

> 3 dayI bought 4 of these. These look like pretty high-quality materials and build. Heck, even the packaging was top-notch. I did find that I had to add a block of wood between the siding and the feet of the unit(s) as I dont have an outer window sill, and therefore my wall to window frame space was smaller than this bracket was rated for. Also, since many windwos are different, the instructions while good, didnt really show me enough to be sure my install was secure. The whole bracket really only holds itself in with these tabs on either side, and the legs. Theyre designed that way and work well, but Ill admit, I wasnt completely sure until I put a 100+lb AC on it and it didnt budge.

> 3 dayAlthough this support seems expensive, its worth every penny. It make your install a breeze. No tools needed for the support at all, only for the AC curtains (a screwdriver). I take that back. I did need a small level for the support to get the air conditioner draining correctly. Correction: Im pretty sure if I remember right, I think it has a built-in level.
