> 24 hourWhen Im traveling down lifes highway on a dark and stormy night, I dont want to worry about if my radio will work or not. I chose this radio because I wanted a cheaper option that would be reliable and last for years. So far, after about a year of use -- its still working great! Uniden has always been a great brand in the CB community, with performance probably a tad bit higher than the Cobras, etc. Although this model DOES NOT have an SWF meter, its small size was my main requirement -- so I used a portable SWF meter (also purchased from Amazon) to tune the radio and my Firestik antenna. No issues at all, and the truckers tell me they can hear me loud and clear when Im traveling down lifes highway!

> 24 hourIt works great for what I need it for. Dont need a $100-$200 CB. This thing gets the job done

> 24 hourGood basic CB.. Push the button, talk, people far away hear you. Release button and shut up, you can hear far away people talk to you.

> 24 hourThese are pretty much the best radios you can buy. They are compact and can be fit between the seats. Have a Wilson 2000 on mine and pick up all around the country and can hear truckers from 10 miles away

> 24 hourThis is a very good CB radio. It’s better to avoid all the extra features of more expensive models.

> 24 hourInstall and set up instructions were easy to follow. Once hooked up and dialed in, everything appears to work as expected. Price was good, but wish I had opted for the Uniden PRO520XL with the PA feature. Update: After using the CB for nearly a year, havent had any issues at all. It works very well. Depending on which antenna Im using (either 3 or 4) I can receive traffic out as far as 10 miles on a good day. Transmit is good, but not sure how far as most of the time Im within sight of who I talk to, or dont have a way to know. I like monitoring CB truck traffic on the interstate. Ive found it useful during Jeep trail events. Its well worth the extra $17 to get the bracket to mount the radio above the rear view mirror. Its a simple unit, but quality to price ration is outstanding at $40.

> 24 hourI bought this radio for my Jeep because I wanted something small and cheap for it. Dont want to cry if it gets ripped off because its in a Jeep. Uniden has been around for a very long time making CB radios and this little rig has not let me down. The functions are simple and easy to use. No frills but it gets the job done and its well made and sturdy. Got an added bonus out of it the other day, I was able to shoot skip from the Hawaiian Islands all the way to North Carolina. Goes to show that you dont need big power and a fancy radio in order to do that. For $33.69 and free shipping you cant go wrong with this radio if you want/need something small due to space constraints.

> 24 hourPurchased this solely on size to fit in a RAV4. Does so right in the console pocket. Amazon delivery, crisp, on time, radio came when they said it would, and worked just fine. Advertised 7 watts, which mine did on a whistle, dead key no speaking 2.5 watts. Not much inside to adjust, but I got 3.5 dead key with 12 watts swing after peak/tune. The radio sounds nice and strong now, noticeable audio difference between stock and tuned. Good little radio for the price.

> 24 hourMy 510 has a noticeable hum, even with the ANL and squelch set. Hopefully, the road noise will drown it out.....
