> 3 dayIn the description it clearly says the 510 has a pa function. Once I received the CB I couldn’t figure out how to use the pa function so I did some research, turns out the 510 doesn’t have a pa function even though amazon’s description says it does. Fix this, I’m considering a refund if anything else on this 510 doesn’t meet my standards

Greater than one weekWhen Im traveling down lifes highway on a dark and stormy night, I dont want to worry about if my radio will work or not. I chose this radio because I wanted a cheaper option that would be reliable and last for years. So far, after about a year of use -- its still working great! Uniden has always been a great brand in the CB community, with performance probably a tad bit higher than the Cobras, etc. Although this model DOES NOT have an SWF meter, its small size was my main requirement -- so I used a portable SWF meter (also purchased from Amazon) to tune the radio and my Firestik antenna. No issues at all, and the truckers tell me they can hear me loud and clear when Im traveling down lifes highway!

> 3 dayDespite the title there is no public address option on this model. Other than that its a great CB for its price.

Greater than one weekMy 510 has a noticeable hum, even with the ANL and squelch set. Hopefully, the road noise will drown it out.....

> 3 dayI needed a CB radio in my work truck for yard communication, so I went with this. Ive been a truck driver for 24 years, so of course I have a big radio that has been modded, but those require fiddling to get them to work correctly. Now that Im doing local work, I just dont have time to mess around with it. This radio, with an 18 foot coax cable, and a basic Francis fiberglass whip antenna is simple, cheap, and works every time. No hassle at all.
