> 3 dayI bought this radio for my Jeep because I wanted something small and cheap for it. Dont want to cry if it gets ripped off because its in a Jeep. Uniden has been around for a very long time making CB radios and this little rig has not let me down. The functions are simple and easy to use. No frills but it gets the job done and its well made and sturdy. Got an added bonus out of it the other day, I was able to shoot skip from the Hawaiian Islands all the way to North Carolina. Goes to show that you dont need big power and a fancy radio in order to do that. For $33.69 and free shipping you cant go wrong with this radio if you want/need something small due to space constraints.

> 3 dayThere are great radios of the farm. They work great with new employees because there is only a squelch. We can get up to 10 miles range in the mountains and 20 in the valleys with the right antenna. On out tractors we use the K30, and the firesticks on out trucks for incredible range when properly tuned. K30 Magnetic Base:

> 3 dayWe have two of these we are running in our Armada and Jeep.....a very functional and easy to set up CB that has great/clear quality with loud speaker. If you are running an open top jeep you will need an external speaker though. After owning a couple Cobra CBs, this one is the best by far! My Cobra CBs include the Cobra 19 and Cobra 75...the cobra 19 was not very loud and had issues getting a good SWR with it, whereas the Cobra 75 was an all-in-one hand mic unit but wasnt loud enough to hear anything and when talking most everyone stated I was coming in garbled. For the comparable costs, I wouldnt buy a Cobra again and will stick with Uniden!

CB
Greater than one weekThis is a very good CB radio. It’s better to avoid all the extra features of more expensive models.

> 3 dayI needed a CB radio in my work truck for yard communication, so I went with this. Ive been a truck driver for 24 years, so of course I have a big radio that has been modded, but those require fiddling to get them to work correctly. Now that Im doing local work, I just dont have time to mess around with it. This radio, with an 18 foot coax cable, and a basic Francis fiberglass whip antenna is simple, cheap, and works every time. No hassle at all.
