The included screws for the Mic holder bracket do not fit the holes on either side of the unit. The screws are slightly too big.

I bought this radio for my Jeep because I wanted something small and cheap for it. Dont want to cry if it gets ripped off because its in a Jeep. Uniden has been around for a very long time making CB radios and this little rig has not let me down. The functions are simple and easy to use. No frills but it gets the job done and its well made and sturdy. Got an added bonus out of it the other day, I was able to shoot skip from the Hawaiian Islands all the way to North Carolina. Goes to show that you dont need big power and a fancy radio in order to do that. For $33.69 and free shipping you cant go wrong with this radio if you want/need something small due to space constraints.

I HAVE USED SEVERAL CB RADIOS BUT THIS ONE IS VERY GOOD FOR THE PRICE. IVE USED THE Galaxy DX-939 A BUNCH AND THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE GALAXY JUST HAS A BUNCH OF BELLS AND WHISTLES AND THIS CB IS JUST A PLAIN BEAT AROUND COMPACT CB RADIO. I HAVE THIS MOUNTED ON MY FOUR WHEELER IN A ARMY AMMO CAN. I HAVE IT RUN TO MY 2 FT ROAD-PRO FIBER GLASS ANTENNA WITH TIMES MICROWAVE 4 FT 400 HMR CABLE. IM PUTTING OUT 8 WATTS POWER. A LOT OF PEOPLE DONT KNOW THIS BUT WHEN YOU BUY THIS RADIO, BEFORE YOU MOUNT IT, TAKE THE FOUR SCREWS OUT ON EACH SIDE. INSIDE YOU WILL FIND THE MICRO-BOARD. IN THE MIDDLE YOU WILL FIND 3 NOBS. THEY ADJUST YOUR OUTPUT POWER OVER THE NORMAL 4 WATTS LIMIT WITCH PREVENTS YOU FROM HAVING TO BUY AN AMP. THE FIRST NOB IS RF POWER, THE SECOND RF GAIN, AND THE LAST IS YOUR FINE TOON SQUELCH. SO IF YOU BUY THIS RADIO, MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS TURN ALL OF THEM ALL THE WAY CLOCKWISE AND THATS IT. DONT WORRY ABOUT BREAKING IT ITS SO EASY TO DO IT. ALL YOU NEED IS A PHILIPS SCREWDRIVER. POINT IS, IF YOU ARE NOT A TRUCKER, ALL YOU NEED IS THIS, BUY THIS RADIO!

Make sure to purchase power cord/supply separately, as it does not come with one.

The hand Mike cord had a short. Cannot find a replacement handmike.

I had a bigger radio - never could them to work correctly - so I purchased this little radio and it works Awesome. I love it.

This is a bare-bones radio, if you just need a radio to get the job done this is it.

I have used the Uniden pro510xl CB for a could of years now, mostly at work. I needed a good cheap CB Radio and this was my choice. Of course it gets a lot of feed back from power-lines, electronics, and other things, but for its price and size/options it is great. Id recommend this radio.
