Greater than one weekAfter reading some of the great reviews I figured I cant go wrong with this one and the other reviews were correct, this thing is perfect. Please dont misunderstand and start with all types of comments about this being a basic radio and it doesnt this or that because that is exactly what I wanted, a good solid, basic radio that I can trust and puts out clear crisp audio and that is what it does. I have done several radio checks and everyone says the same thing, sounds good and clean or very crisp and clear sound or nice strong signal and clean audio and for a basic low cost radio how can you miss. I have this sitting in my Toyota Tundra but its not even mounted, it sits loose between the seat & console rattling around a bit now and again so I dont baby it at all, it takes a fair amount of shacking and rattling but handles it just fine, just fine. I recommend this one for anyone that wants a good low cost radio which will hold up and broadcast when you need it to. Very good selection no matter how you look at it.

Greater than one weekThis radio has already paid for itself. I bought it to monitor traffic conditions when driving the interstate. Only issue I have is when I park next to certain buildings I get a lot of interference. I solve that by simply turning it off until well away from the building. This radio has a very nice compact design which makes it a perfect fit where I mounted in my vehicle. Absolutely perfect for what I needed. Arrived in a timely manner

> 3 dayThese radios are a great value for the money. There is an almost zero learning curve to using them and they work quite well.

Greater than one weekI have used the Uniden pro510xl CB for a could of years now, mostly at work. I needed a good cheap CB Radio and this was my choice. Of course it gets a lot of feed back from power-lines, electronics, and other things, but for its price and size/options it is great. Id recommend this radio.

Greater than one weekI HAVE USED SEVERAL CB RADIOS BUT THIS ONE IS VERY GOOD FOR THE PRICE. IVE USED THE Galaxy DX-939 A BUNCH AND THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE GALAXY JUST HAS A BUNCH OF BELLS AND WHISTLES AND THIS CB IS JUST A PLAIN BEAT AROUND COMPACT CB RADIO. I HAVE THIS MOUNTED ON MY FOUR WHEELER IN A ARMY AMMO CAN. I HAVE IT RUN TO MY 2 FT ROAD-PRO FIBER GLASS ANTENNA WITH TIMES MICROWAVE 4 FT 400 HMR CABLE. IM PUTTING OUT 8 WATTS POWER. A LOT OF PEOPLE DONT KNOW THIS BUT WHEN YOU BUY THIS RADIO, BEFORE YOU MOUNT IT, TAKE THE FOUR SCREWS OUT ON EACH SIDE. INSIDE YOU WILL FIND THE MICRO-BOARD. IN THE MIDDLE YOU WILL FIND 3 NOBS. THEY ADJUST YOUR OUTPUT POWER OVER THE NORMAL 4 WATTS LIMIT WITCH PREVENTS YOU FROM HAVING TO BUY AN AMP. THE FIRST NOB IS RF POWER, THE SECOND RF GAIN, AND THE LAST IS YOUR FINE TOON SQUELCH. SO IF YOU BUY THIS RADIO, MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS TURN ALL OF THEM ALL THE WAY CLOCKWISE AND THATS IT. DONT WORRY ABOUT BREAKING IT ITS SO EASY TO DO IT. ALL YOU NEED IS A PHILIPS SCREWDRIVER. POINT IS, IF YOU ARE NOT A TRUCKER, ALL YOU NEED IS THIS, BUY THIS RADIO!

> 3 dayPurchased this for our Jeep JK. It was fitted at the top of the windshield above the mirror. We made a bracket and cut the plastic to snugly fit this into the hole. The mike bracket mounts to the right front side and is out of the way and easy to grab. The speaker is on the bottom so I hear it very well. Looks like a factory install. Great idea for those with Jeep Wrangler JKs
