Greater than one weekI do recommend anybody to have it, of course we know all the challenges of a more compact umbrella, but by far the most well built Ive ever seen in these category, and no other comparable offering the same aggregate values. Under a Tropical sun i tested.... Also is very light for a medium size ( the one I purchased). It works for those with sensitive skin, Rosacea, Skin Cancer Protection , and hot weather, it has a great look also, it matches any style, very urban. works under the rain and wind. The best Face skin age cream is sun protection.

> 3 dayHaving previously owned a uv ray blocking umbrella from the Breast Cancer Association (that I lost somewhere), I found this umbrella while looking to replace the other. The price was a bit formidable (had to talk myself into buying it) but now that I use it, I find it is definitely a good value for the money. My other umbrella was flimsy compared to this one. This has substantial weight to it and requires a good grip. As others have said, the handle is a bit awkward. But...despite that, I love this umbrella! I like that it has the Melanoma Association approval, a really dependable testimony to the effectiveness of the uv ray blocker. Having an illness that is exacerbated by uv rays, I feel that endorsement gives me confidence the product will work as advertised. Other umbrellas sold on Amazon just say they have uv protection, but with this umbrella, I have no doubt. The claim that it reduces the heat under the canopy by 15 degrees seems plausible to me. I really love the cover with the carrying ropes; it comes in handy. If you are looking for a genuine uv blocking umbrella that is sturdy and delivers what is promised, this is the umbrella you should buy.

> 3 dayI really like the quality of the product but I think it’s too heavy and the size is too big . So I cannot use it for traveling .

> 3 dayThis dandy little item has brought peace to my marriage... my pale, British husband cannot bear the light of day and now, when the sun peeks through, I simply whip this out and hand it to him. Well-built and designed for portability, the UV-Blocker Travel Umbrella has some great features like an attractive appearance, quick deployment, handy carrying sleeve and baffles to make it windproof. I take away one star, however, as the handle is a bit uncomfortable to hold for long periods--I dont see why it could not have been designed better. Otherwise, this will do double duty for both sun and rain, and has already been a huge help in settings where I loved the sun but hubby needed to retreat to a dark place.

> 3 dayThis is my new best friend out in the sun! A friend let me borrow hers during a festival in the heat of the day, sun blazing. I am the type that after a few minutes in direct sun, my heart beats faster and I almost immediately feel ill. This thing works! It really does feel at least 10 degrees cooler under the umbrella. I can’t recommend it enough. Amazing!

> 3 dayCurrently I live in a place where we have sunny days all year round; hence, I carry this umbrella with me everywhere I go. I love it! It does its job, it keeps me protected from sun rays, and it looks great (I like pretty things). I like how it holds in the hand, but perhaps the weight could be a little less.

> 3 dayGenerally, most satisfying. Could be wider, but not a real issue. Only four stars because it doesnt have the push-button retrieve feature that most such umbrellas now have and it takes a serious effort to sock it back in place.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is clearly a higher quality than the cheaper brand I purchased last year (which only lasted a year) The skeleton is sturdy, the fabric is resilient, the venting is fortified. The size is perfect for one person, barely wider than my shoulders, so I can walk down a crowded street no problem. I attached my own shoulder strap because I find the slip case too much to deal with. The only thing that could be better is that its a little cludgy to close. The first one I bought (I believe it was this brand) closed with the same button that opened it, much easier than this version. Sadly, I left that one on the bus! Hopefully whomever found it recognized it for the treasure that it is.
