> 3 dayI only gave it 4 stars because it is so ugly - I wish they could make this product with a bit more variety of color. But as far as it working, it works GREAT - you feel much cooler in the hot sun under it and the UV blocker really works, I didnt have to wear SPF on my face at all and I spent a week in Cannes on the beach under this thing and got NO pigmentation on my face. Im very happy! They just need to make it look a bit nicer. Also the straps with velcro that tie it together are too long, so they flap around annoyingly when using. Also, it is not as compact as most umbrellas - so its not ideal for travel.

> 3 dayThis sun umbrella appears to be keeping the sun off me. I use it when I take long walks and no matter how strong the sun, I never get a burn. I highly recommend it. But after a while, maybe six months or less the protective coating wears off and you need to get a new, but it is worth the price

> 3 dayI love this unbrella. Now its a little bulky and slightly heavier and not cute like a regular umbrella, but thats because this fabric really does reduce the temperature underneath it. UV concerns are definitely handled, but if youve ever had heat stroke, you also want heat protection, and this umbrella allows me to be out in the heat longer because it helps keep me cool.

> 3 dayI bought this umbrella for a month long trip to Dominican Republic. I was going to do door to door ministry and from the last trip we had taken we were recommended to get an umbrella with UV block. There wasnt many options and I thought this was a bit pricey but I read the reviews and most of them were favorable. I really recommend this product. Its light weight but sturdy, doesnt take up too much space and it works! It even has a holder where you can carry it over your shoulder when not in use. (Helps to not forget it when taking public transportation in DR.) I wouldve loved a colorful pattern or for it to be push button close or less costly but other than that no complaints.

> 3 dayI’m a PE teacher and I can’t stand in the sun all day. Once the kids know what to do I can walk around with this, so I’m not frying all day outside with no shade. It totally block sun and is a great size but it is heavier than I thought. Still worth it though.

> 3 dayThis umbrella would rate higher if it were not so heavy. It is a well built umbrella except that it is top heavy, especially when there is wind. The umbrella is made with aluminum and causes it to be quite heavy to hold for any length of time, plus the base of the handle is a bit cheap. This is a good umbrella for using on short trips but is too heavy for long periods of time. It is a shame because it does keep you cooler in the heat, maybe they will fix these short cummings and then it will be a great umbrella!

> 3 daythis UV-Blocker Umbrella arrived right on time for summer - i had a skin cancer taken off the top of my head a number of years ago; my hair is quite thin; and i know i am supposed to avoid the sun . . . so what is a body to do when its time to walk the dog? I am so glad i ordered this space-age looking (silver) parasol to protect me from those harmful rays. It is my summer security blanket, and i am grateful to have it. It does not pay to take chances with your skin, especially when you can walk cooler - yes! it feels cooler walking beneath it - and you know you are protected from the sun. Great product - glad i stumbled upon it at Amazon!

> 3 dayTook this on a trip to Disney World in August, it was HOT... I dont do well in the heat. It certainly saved me from baking to death in the sun. Dont get me wrong, it was still hot, but I was able to find relief in the shade this baby provided. Also, my fair skin did not get sunburned. The only thing I would change is that this is a bit heavy so it did get a little tiresome to carry all day. However, the wrist strap did help somewhat. Its sturdy and operated perfectly each and everyone of the 100 times I opened and closed it that trip. I would recommend this umbrella to everyone!

> 3 dayMy last umbrella lasted my over 5 years. The reason I replaced it was the handle was starting to feel sticky and the silver color on the umbrella had faded. I decided to buy a new one. My new one lasted about 8 months and the button some how got stuck in a slanted position. I emailed the company and they instructed me on how to get a replacement. Since the umbrella was under a year old there was no problem getting a new one. This is the best umbrella I have ever owned. The only thing I would do different is get a bigger size.
