> 3 dayThis dandy little item has brought peace to my marriage... my pale, British husband cannot bear the light of day and now, when the sun peeks through, I simply whip this out and hand it to him. Well-built and designed for portability, the UV-Blocker Travel Umbrella has some great features like an attractive appearance, quick deployment, handy carrying sleeve and baffles to make it windproof. I take away one star, however, as the handle is a bit uncomfortable to hold for long periods--I dont see why it could not have been designed better. Otherwise, this will do double duty for both sun and rain, and has already been a huge help in settings where I loved the sun but hubby needed to retreat to a dark place.

Greater than one weekYou can take it everywhere with you in the car or for Travel. And the compact one is the perfect size for the purse, and you Wont get Hot. I recommend yo have both, Travel and compact. The only con with the compact is that is too hard for me To close it. I need a lot of effort for that. And the con of this Travel one, is the size because is not so compact to fit in the hand bag. If you have both , you can choose in every ocation. Both are helpfull and you stay cold under it.

> 3 dayI used this umbrella at my granddaughters high school graduation and got there early to sit at the top of the bleachers so not to block anyones view. My family always teases me and especially when they arrived and saw my umbrella up. They had a great time laughing. Before the event started I had two different strangers come up to feel the difference from their regular sun umbrella to my UV-Blocker umbrella and you could feel the difference. I was also surprised to see all the regular umbrellas going up and not even sun umbrellas. Im glad I came prepared with sun block on and this umbrella. It protected and kept me cool from the heat of the direct sun.

> 3 dayMy fair skinned mother adores the sunbrella. She uses it for daily walks in her neighborhood/park and at her 2 grandsons soccer games. She has used it in the sun, rain and it has held up to some hefty winds. The uv coating has started to wear thin at the folds. She asked for a new one She loves it so much. It held up for 6 years of very frequent, but gentle use. Highly recommend. It really does keep you 10 degrees cooler. Originally She got a few funny looks or funny comments, but most people were curious and wanted to know if it works. She should get a commission. :)

> 3 dayThis is a very good umbrella. It performs as indicated on the web site. Although I was aware of the weight and size of the umbrella, it feels heavier than I expected, and it is not as wide as I expected. I have used it on very windy days. It is very sturdy. A favorite feature is that the temperature while standing under the umbrella definitely feels cooler than standing in the direct sun.

> 3 dayGreat product, easy to use, well made and with wonderful sun protection. Holds up well during windy days which are plentiful in the desert SW. Also since we have had much hotter than normal summer weather in the hotter than hell Valley of the Sun, without this umbrella I would be totally melting and unable to go outside at all. A must buy if you are unlocking enough to live in the desert SW especially between June through Aug. There is also a very high risk of skin cancer here because of the constant sun and it is medically necessary to protect your skin. This is better MUCH better than hats. Everyone should buy one.

> 3 dayLiving in the desert – along with my high-standards – has driven me to continuously step up my game. I love the dry heat but when it comes to baking in the Sun, Im not the one. If youre concerned about maintaining the quality of your skin and/or slowing the signs of aging, this is an amazing investment. I wont ever wear a romper or carry a purse but I WILL keep a quality UV-blocking umbrella in my arsenal for the rest of my life. Ive used this umbrella for the past week and its amazing! Having this along with sunscreen, sunglasses, quality UV-film in your car (all glass – including the moonroof and windshield), wide-brimmed hats, and portable clinging window shades (for the times youre driving or riding in a vehicle without tint) will give you a well-rounded line of defense against the Suns damaging ultraviolet rays. There are several other tips and items that will give you protection as you enjoy your outdoor activities but thats what Google is for! Have fun and make every day special.

> 3 dayThe umbrella is quite sturdy and I ( melanoma survivor) trust effective against UV rays. Im sure people watching me walk around with it on rainless days must think Im a bit dotty, but hopefully Im at the vanguard of a movement to use anti-UV umbrellas in this time of deadly climate change.

Greater than one weekI got this for my husband to use during autocross, which entails standing on asphalt for hours at a time with no shade. We live in Florida so the heat can be pretty extreme. This umbrella has been great! He says it makes a huge difference and really helps take the edge off the heat. Plus it protects from sunburns on the arms, face, head, and neck. The vents in the fabric keep the heat from getting trapped underneath, which was a problem with other umbrellas he has used in the past.

> 3 dayThis was called a travel umbrella, I guess because it has a cover that can be slung on your shoulder by a strap? It is HEAVY. I live in the desert, I need a sun blocker when I walk my dog. After 30 minutes of holding this my hand/arm were very fatigued. It is way too big and way too heavy for a brisk 30 minute walk. I did jot want to buy the smaller umbrella because it had a really cheesy handle. An expensive blunder of a purchase. It did block the sun but impossibly heavy. Not for daily dog walking.
