> 3 dayThis is an amazing product. I ordered it for vacation - we went to Orlando and hit all the theme parks. It was super hot. I used my UV umbrella at every park and it really helps to cut out the heat & sun. I have a very light complexion & I burn easily. I didnt burn at all using this umbrella. Some of the park rangers at Animal Kingdom remarked that this is the right kind of umbrella for hot climates & I was the first person they had every seen with one. I highly recommend this jewel. I am still using it now as I live in South Texas. I am still amazed at how well it works.

> 3 dayMust have for blocking sun. Slightly bulkier then a standard umbrella but blocks the sun perfectly. Provides a good amount of shade for 1-2 people.

> 3 dayVery well package, seemingly well constructed product. Has embroidered logo on both the case & the umbrella itself. The addition of a shoulder strap to the case is nice because it’s definitely got some weight to it for a “travel” umbrella. It weighs more than twice as much as my standard travel umbrellas, and is bulkier both length and width wise. I did not find it any harder to open and close than any other umbrellas I’ve had, both functions were smooth. As far as shade and sun protection - I tried it out in the Phoenix sun on a 110 degree day in July and it does help, but I would say that making it 15 degrees cooler underneath is an exaggeration. It did seem more effective at absorbing/reflecting the baking heat than my standard umbrella that I was using for comparison, but for the $50 price tag - I should hope so, not as much difference as I’d expected though. I hope it holds up well over time to justify the price tag, because there were more affordable options, but seemed like they may be less durable from reviews.

> 3 dayAs a redhead and someone who is scheduled for their third Mohs surgery, I decided that I had to find an ultimate solution to protect myself from the sun in 5000 elevation Arizona sun. I dislike suntan lotions and also wearing hats that cause flat sweaty hair. The umbrella offers almost full-body coverage from the sun and also makes one feel cooler when under intense sun. It is not unduly heavy, for even a petite woman, to carry. It holds up well under winds and the one time it blew inward, I was able to immediately work it back into place. Hopefully no more surgeries for me.

Greater than one weekThe UV blocker umbrella is well constructed yet versatile. I take it on the golf course and it adds the protection I am looking for during the hot days in Florida.

> 3 dayWe need protection from the sun--always did but just wising up after some scares--and selected this because it is approved by the Melanoma International Foundation, has high 55 UPF rating, provides venting and is travel size. It is probably a 5-star umbrella but I did rate it a 4 because it is so much heavier and longer and bulkier than any travel umbrella Ive ever had. The material is very substantial, for example, so I will fold it down and attach it closed with the two Velcro closures but I will not struggle much beyond that to get it back into the carrying case. But, really, who cares? This is to protect us from the rays of the sun and it should do a fine job at that. Its protection I should have had and been willing to use years ago.

> 3 dayGenerally, most satisfying. Could be wider, but not a real issue. Only four stars because it doesnt have the push-button retrieve feature that most such umbrellas now have and it takes a serious effort to sock it back in place.

> 3 dayLiving in the desert – along with my high-standards – has driven me to continuously step up my game. I love the dry heat but when it comes to baking in the Sun, Im not the one. If youre concerned about maintaining the quality of your skin and/or slowing the signs of aging, this is an amazing investment. I wont ever wear a romper or carry a purse but I WILL keep a quality UV-blocking umbrella in my arsenal for the rest of my life. Ive used this umbrella for the past week and its amazing! Having this along with sunscreen, sunglasses, quality UV-film in your car (all glass – including the moonroof and windshield), wide-brimmed hats, and portable clinging window shades (for the times youre driving or riding in a vehicle without tint) will give you a well-rounded line of defense against the Suns damaging ultraviolet rays. There are several other tips and items that will give you protection as you enjoy your outdoor activities but thats what Google is for! Have fun and make every day special.

Greater than one weekI love this Umbrella and highly recommend to anyone seeking protection from sun. I have an 8 month old baby and it has been an invaluable go-to when travelling overseas. It allows me to go anywhere worry free as I always have shade for my little guy. While visiting Greece this has been key for me not missing out on archaeological sites with him in tow.
