> 24 hourThis safe is exactly what I was looking for to keep my gun locked away from my child while still being quickly and easily accessible to me. The posted dimensions say the interior has a 1.5 clearance for the height, so I was worried the cylinder on my GP100 .357 magnum would be too big for it (Ruger lists it at 1.557). However, I can confirm that my revolver fits perfectly, with room for a couple speed loaders. Important to note: my gun has a 3 barrel. A revolver with a longer barrel than that would likely require the VE20 size Vaultek. The combination code is simple to program and the keypad is fairly easy to use. The added touch of the keys lighting up is nice. Everything seems to be working as it should. I wasnt interested in all the bells and whistles of the more expensive models. If anything changes with performance I will update the review.

> 24 hourI love this little safe I was a little concerned that the size would be too small but that’s a .45 extra mag and light. All that fits perfect! The additional light inside and buttons light help for night time access. Multiple way to secure safely and I would recommend buttons vice fingerprint. I’ve had multiple issues with fingerprints working on wrong people and I have kids. Not messing around with that.

Unfortunately it did not fit all the way under, it was a bit to tall “thick” so I returned it and will buy the next size down. About this safe: absolutely superb quality. The locking mechanism is very strong. Very simple to program. You can’t go wrong with vaultek. It’s pricey but so are the things I don’t want stolen.
