> 3 dayDoes fine. Holds a compact and full size with no attachments or one full size with attachments and 2 magazines. The opening does make a fairly loud click, relative to the silence of night, so be aware of that. If anything thats fine because in the case where youre grabbing a gun you want to try and deter before having to make a devastating choice. I saw one of the reviews of how to fairly easily break into this safe and that definitely was a deterrence but the goal was to keep out my little one and not a thief who will grab the safe and work on it from home anyway.

> 3 dayFirst off, I don’t work for Vaultek. I’d purchase a knockoff brand to save $40 or so, and immediately returned it. Even better, the Vaultek went on sale when I went back to purchase it ($25 off). Very simple to program and operate; it’s clear that the manual was written by a native English speaker- there’s 0% weirdness or awkward wording. The safe opens fast and the light immediately turns on, but that light can be defeated if you choose. Just a great piece of kit - I’ll probably buy one for my truck, too!

> 3 dayI went to open this safe the other day and found it was completely dead. Recharged the battery, tried other 18650 cells and still zero response from the hardware. Also found battery compartment to be cheap and poorly designed. Luckily I still had the key, however I doubt these would be too hard to pick.

Greater than one weekSeems as though this is a well built safe. I bought the VE-10 and it fits my G23 with a TLR-4 perfectly. The keys a nicely light and the interior led is great. The proximity sensor could be a little more sensitive though. You have to touch right in front of the keys to light them up. Would be nice to be able to just touch the safe anywhere to turn them on. But I’m sure in time I’ll become accustomed to it and it won’t be an issue. Plus it comes with the accessories and very easy to charge. Overall I’m very satisfied!
