> 3 dayBought these to keep firearms safe in the house when guests or children are visiting. Love the convenience and simplicity of the VE20 and VE10. Bought one of each. VE10 is only slightly smaller than the VE20. If you’re just doing one weapon and don’t need uber secure storage (VE20 has two latches vs VE10 which only has one), then go with the VE10. If you want slightly more room for a larger weapon or multiple accessories, go VE20. Battery came fully charged and it was easy to set up and get going. Comes with a security cable and a charging cable. My son has a VE20 and said he’s charged it once in 2 years.

> 3 daySo after having this gun safe for 2 years I must say it is a sturdy convenient little safe that will keep a pistol and a couple mags away from the Littles. However, I have been having problems with it opening up for me with the keypad. It takes sometimes 4-5 entries of the correct combination for it to open and this the reason Im giving it 2 stars. I have tried changing the combination a couple times as well as keeping a full charge, but nothing helps. If I need to get to my gun in a hurry Id probably be better off hiding under the bed. I really like this safe but cant trust the keypad so I now have the key close by.
