> 24 hourSimpy amazing! This monitor with USB-C turned THREE cables into one!! Its complete eliminated the cable clutter on my desktop. Before I had hooked up to my Dell XPS 13 9380 the following: one USB-C cable for display, one USB-C converted to USB-A through an adapter for my peripherals, and another USB-C cable for charging. Now a SINGLE USB-C cable hooked up to this monitor does all three things! One single USB-C cable hooked up to this monitor provides power, drives the monitor, and the built-in USB hub in the monitor all works! Simultaneously!! Just make sure you get the right USB-C cable, with USB-PD and 10 Gbps Gen 2 like this one recommended by another reviewer on here. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L0F6AJI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Sorry if this sounds like a fake review, but Im just honestly pleased with this monitor. If I would give 6 stars, I would.

> 24 hourMy desk isnt very large so Id appreciate 24 monitors and this fits my desk quite well. The functionality, screen colors and ease of setup are all generally good enough.

> 24 hourFor the price, it is unbeatable. Im glad chose the 1440p model over full HD. I was on the fence since I dont do any gaming and this would purely be for office use and browsing. It makes a big difference in how much text that can be displayed and the clarity as well. Bonus USB ports on the side not shown in the specs.

> 24 hourGood entry level monitor for business. I like that I can adjust the height and tilt in so many ways. Picture quality pretty good. Only thing I dont like is the menu tree is not very intuitive. Overall a good choice.

> 24 hourI use this to extend my MacBook screen for office type applications. My main need is a crisp picture for smooth text and application windows, and at 1440p the picture is plenty crisp for my needs. There seems to be a bit of confusion as to what cables are included in the box. I cant say if ViewSonic has recently changed what they include, but mine (purchased in July 2020) included a USB-C 3.1 cable. The great feature is the Mac, or any USB-C laptop, will connect video, connect any devices plugged into the monitors USB-A ports, and charge the laptop all over a single cable and without adapters. This is more convenient than I thought it would be.

> 24 hourI purchased this monitor after a similarly-configured Lenovo monitor bricked on me only a couple months out of warranty. This ViewSonic isnt quite the looker as the Lenovo, but its ergonomically superior in some respects, and I think the screen is brighter and has better viewing angles. I also like the arrangement of the USB ports for extra peripherals just behind the screen on the users left hand side as theyre easier to access. My one complaint is about the user interface. On the front of the monitor on the lower bezel is the power button, a button that allows you to switch viewing modes, and four other menu buttons. Those four other menu buttons pull up a unified menu but serve other functions once the menu is activated (one for up, one for down, one to select, and one to exit). That all makes sense, of course, but, for the way I work, a one-button option for switching inputs would be far, far more useful than a one-button solution to switch viewing modes. Im a grown man with no time for games - this monitor is for my work. But I have two computers - my work and my personal. Ive literally never, in over a year, needed to change color/brightness settings via the viewing mode button. But I do switch inputs multiple times a day, so, having just one button to press to quickly switch inputs would make far more sense.

> 24 hourWASTE of money, mine is already being returned. The internal stereo speakers are utterly laughable, theyre small and shrill and pathetic. Sounds like a 90s nokia phone in a tin cup. Of course, the sound over USB Type-C cant be controlled from your device and there are NO VOLUME BUTTONS, you have to dive into the menu?!? Another lacking feature? Theres no Portrait mode switch when you rotate (like most decent monitors); you have to handle that from your device if it supports that. Really pathetic for a 2019/2020 gaming monitor, this is some budget parts-bin trash with a couple good ports soldered on. Sure, USB Type-C input gives a good clear image, BUT so do a hundred better monitors for the money. Viewsonic just lost (another) customer for good, by putting out this cut-corners garbage. DO NOT waste your money, buy something else.

> 24 hourTry both Anker and Cable Matters video cables, this monitor only works for wife MacBook Air 2020, but not for my MacBook Pro 2018 nor sons MacBook Air 2019. Try upgraded to Catalina 10.15.4 , reset NVRAM but still no luck, very frustrated and hope someone knows the solution.

> 24 hourPROS -DP and HDMI inputs -New USB-C input. -Excellent stand with swivel, up/down, tilt. -IPS panel which is best for general computer usage. Gamers might prefer a different panel with faster response. -Integrated speakers. Nothing special but convenient to have. -Very good build quality and image quality.
