> 3 dayI went back and forth between this monitor and a LG 4K monitor. This monitor definitely gets the job done and for almost half the price. I used a thunderbolt cable and the picture is amazing and keeps my MacBook charged. I would definitely recommend this monitor.

> 3 dayI tried the provided USB Type C cable, the provided DisplayPort cable, and this USB Type C (3.1) cable (https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-USB-Type-C-Gen1-Cable/dp/B01GGKYUKI), and all I got was No signal on the screen. I am extremely frustrated and dont know why my macbook pro 16 is not working with this monitor. googling didnt help much, but i could confirm other people were seeing this issue, perhaps due to a macOS problem. I hope someone from ViewSonic can help.

Greater than one weekNice monitor. Easy to setup. Picture quality is great. The sound is ok. I would probably add some extra speakers. Overall a really good monitor. I like the size of the screen.

> 3 dayI purchased this as a second monitor and after a couple months I have had zero issues. Build quality is great, as well as the viewing angles for vertical usage. The trend with many companies is to produce these big monitors with small resolutions. This creates a visually disturbing pixel density that I personally find unpleasant (FHD@32=68.84 PPI vs WQHD@24=122.38 PPI). Its nice to see companies still producing normally-sized monitors with larger resolutions. The stability and mobility is great. Large swivel radius, tilt, and height adjustment for finding that sweet-spot. The handle for movement is a very nice addition. The only thing to be wary of is the fact that this monitor DOES NOT support refresh rates over 60hz at 2k resolution. But for some reason the product description has an eye-catching final bullet point of 75 hertz. (I wanted to take a star off for that shady advertising, but it really is a great monitor)

> 3 dayI have Mac Pro. I used type-c data cable that came with package, and the one which I have bought separately which is designed for both power, video/audio transfers. Both didnt work. Gladly I have HDMI adaptor through with monitor is working. I am planning to return as I bought this especially for type-c.

> 3 dayI really like this monitor. It’s a well-designed monitor with a bright, crisp display that’s going to be really tough to beat without spending significantly more money. And, even if you do decide to spend significantly more money for a better monitor, the difference in picture quality isn’t going to be a jaw dropping. Now, with all that said, once you get this monitor up and running, you will definitely need to make many adjustments to it to get it dialed in exactly the way you like it. So, plan on spending about an hour or so changing settings, making adjustments and fine tuning the picture. And, once you do that, I can’t imagine anyone being anything but happy with this monitor. If I had to complain about something, it would be about the speakers. They’re strictly utilitarian. They provide basic sound. If you want anything better than that, you’ll need to get a pair of external speakers. Which I already had, and pretty much knew I would need since the onboard speakers are, of course, extremely small. Other than the minor speaker thing, I really couldn’t be more happy with this monitor. I think it’s a very solid choice if you’re looking for a 24” budget-friendly monitor. If you have any questions about this ViewSonic monitor, please feel free to ask, and Ill try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful.

> 3 dayAmazed at the picture quality & brightness. This Is my first viewsonic monitor, wont be the last. Very easy to setup. Highly adjustable. Extra wide resolution is worth it. Lightweight, but sturdy. Easily better than the generic computer brand monitors. Should have started with viewsonic!

> 3 dayOther reviews talk about the picture and the lack of a USB-C cable. They have heard and now include a 10Gb/s 1m long cable which works fine. The built-in speaker sound quality is not as good a the build-in late model MacBook Pro laptop, but is ok. The USB-C cable allows for the monitor to be almost be a docking station. After a month of our family using 2 of these monitors, Ive raised it to 5-stars.

Greater than one weekGreat monitor for its price, used with a 2019 MacBook Pro. Easily the best part of this monitor is the USB C connection. It allows the MacBook to charge AND provide picture using a single cable. The panel is fine. No dead pixels and picture quality is good. It has a Matte finish, which isn’t as nice as the MacBook’s glossy finish, but it’s easier to clean. I had a scratch on the screen due to shipping damage. I ordered a replacement and It came with no hassle. The monitor comes at 60hz refresh rate, so I wouldn’t recommend for gaming purposes, unless a 144hz monitor is out of budget. For $350 this monitor is great!
