Works amazing and keeps my crabs warm, doesn’t get way to hot either!

Bought the heating pad in September and now we are in December and it has stopped working. I have the temperature set to 91 Fahrenheit and it will not get over 66°. I’ve tried unplugging device in hopes that it would restart and checking all plugs to make sure nothing is loose. I have had ongoing issues with the hearing pad since it arrived but this time it won’t heat up at all. My reptiles requires heat at all times and this mat unreliable.

Make sure youre putting the thermostat in the correct place. 4 stars because mine didnt come with instructions.

This stopped working after 6 months. I didn’t notice for a while and my uromastyx lizard pet got HURT! Super unhappy.

Worked great for about a month-ish with only a 2° variation which is pretty good at this price. Then as I went to change the setting as I do every morning to day/night cycle my snakes enclosure, the LCD failed. It thankfully still works, but I cant read the display so Im forced to check it with my laser thermometer after an hour or so. The design isnt well thought out at it uses membrane type buttons and they just put a flexible cover over top of the entire unit which pushes against the screen. I dont push it very hard but due to the design its built in a way that almost guarantees it will fail if you have to change the settings daily. If you plan on using this one I highly suggest a seperate thermostat controller so you dont have to touch the thermostat itself. More cables and space needed to do so but if temperatures need changed at any point its absolutely necessary with this thermostat. Also the heat pad adheres good and after the first 5 hours it will stay at the temp you want very well. It has a hard time adhering to the spot that you put the temp probe. I had to add tape to the spot with the probe as it fell of the first day. If you have a setup where you dont need to probe directly on the mat this wont be a problem for you. I have a glass enclosure so it is required, and needs tape to hold half the mat up.

The local pet store recommended to look online “because” the aquarium kit had an “crappy” one. Seems to be working for the reptile.

Worked great for one year and 4 days, then malfunctioned for no apparent reason.

Good for germinating seeds and keeping small objects warm.

Great product for the price. Stuck directly to glass with ease and stays there! My little gecko loves her warm side so much more now! Suggest buying a temp gauge for safety too.

Only the center of this mat works and doesnt provide enough heat even with a temperature regulator.
