Im using this as an Ambient Dehydration Unit to REMOVE Moisture from 3D Printing Filament! This will store your filament nicely but if you add the Ambient Heat Source to the Drybox on the bottom exterior, not containing it, you are good to go! You get just enough heat to drive out Humidity and make your Drybox into a DRYER as well! NOW you can keep dry filament dry and you can dry your moist filament safely. This is a VERY WELL MADE UNIT with EXCELLENT ADHESIVE from 3M! It is clearly marked Double Sided 3M and it worked VERY WELL on a metal bottom plate on my Drybox! You have to SEAT the Unit properly! REALLY give the tape a few minutes of good solid rubbing to secure and seal it to whatever surface you are putting it on and DONT touch the adhesive all over before putting it on or then it wont work right! It sticks very securely when applied correctly.

After a two month it’s started to smell like a smoke vinyl, like a toxic smell, makes me dizzy! Need a quality control! After all my pet got serious burns! Avoid purchasing this brand, I’ve got warming mats from other brands and I have much better experience!

My geckos love it. The female will go over and lay right up next to it for hours and hours, the male doesn’t use it as much but she loves it.

I bought this to use for my cloner, very quality product! The 3M tape stuck it right to the bottom. The cord is perfect because it doesn’t have a ground and take up a lot of space on my power strip, 6’ is also a pretty decent length for it. This was a strong buy for me.

Does not always shut off at the exact tep. But close enough. Works fine for the price.

Disappointing, a week after installing on CLEAN glass and taped on with the silver heat tape, there are three large bubbles in the center area about 3-4 each so far -- it is becoming unstuck! Rats, it isnt very warm at the glass when it is not stuck to it but pulled away. ***Upped a star because the company made it right and didnt ask for anything in return***

So first off, I love the actual thermostat, its easy to read, and easy to set and is very accurate from what I have notice. The heat pad however, leaves something to be desired. The instruction booklet says the aim is to achieve your desired temperature in 5hours, it was well over 36 hours before it got anywhere near where I needed it to be. I bought this for a pacman frog with the expectation that it would be able to get my 10 gallon tank from 70F to 80F using it on the side of the tank. The tank has a glass lid and is insulated. I feel as though generally the tank itself holds the temperature/humidity well as I have used this set up in the past but with lights and not heat mats. I read the instructions and applied it correctly. Initially it wasnt able to do get the tank more than 4 or degrees above room temp. This heat pad was rated for 10-20 gallons. I reached out to the company for advice and still havent heard back from them (it has been more than 4 days). With some help from the amphibian community I was able to tweak things to get the temp where I needed it to be. Im disappointed in the lack of response from vivosun. I would not use this particular item on a 20gallon tank. If I had too I might use the next size up for one. All in all, I dont like the companys inability to respond to my questions. I dont think this particular product should be rated for anything over a 5gallon tank. I do like thermostat and I like that there was the option of buying it in a bundle.

I am not super thrilled with this product and I’m worried about the care of my animal because of it. The temperature output is inconsistent and is not reaching the higher temperatures I’m after. I have the thermostat set to 35. The thermostat reading will fluctuate between 32 to 35 throughout the day. What is extra frustrating is that when I check the surface temp of the heat pad with my temp gun, it’s saying only 26-28. I am not confident in the over performance of this product.
