> 3 dayMy gecko seems to like it. My two issues with this product is that it takes a couple days to heat up to its max temp and when it does it reaches very high temperatures so only use this with a temperature controller! Second issue is that it puts off a very strong smell at first with the heated adhesive. Otherwise, it works better than any regular heat mat for humans like I was doing before.

> 3 dayIt’s easy enough to use but the mat just doesn’t have enough power to get the hotspot to anything above 80-90 and it’s a little frustrating.

> 3 dayOnly had this heat pad for a week and it has already came unglued. It still produces heat but will not stay on the bottom of the tank. Very disappointed in this product.

> 3 dayThese work awesome. Use for almost all of my reptiles. Great for sole heating or extra heating! The thermostat it comes with is clutch. Awesome value.

> 3 dayI use this for my feeder roach bins. It’s ok. The temp fluctuates badly for some reason. I have it set at 87 degrees for the highest it should go but it never reads that. Goes from 80-85...sometimes lower. Very strange but I’ve never had one of these before so maybe that’s normal who knows. Update Feb 2,2023…just died yesterday…got two yrs out of it so I guess that’s not too bad. May order another.

> 3 dayThe local pet store recommended to look online “because” the aquarium kit had an “crappy” one. Seems to be working for the reptile.

> 3 dayI got this because the heating pad I bought at the local pet store was awful. This was the size it advertised and heats up quicker than the ZooMed brand that I had before. You should get a thermostat to go with it or it can burn your animals. My only beef with it is that the adhesive isnt the most effective. I had to secure a couple of the corners with aluminum tape, but thats a quick and easy fix. Its keeping my snake nice and warm (but not too hot with the thermostat. Theyre expensive but vital for good pet care).

> 3 dayIve only been using this for about 24 hrs out of the box. But, so far, Im pleased with the products construction and function. The red LED control display is bright and sharp. I followed the instructions supplied with the controller and I had my temperature set point set up in just seconds. My seed starting table is in a basement area thats around 60 degrees ambient. With an 85 deg. set point, the mat has brought my soil temperature up to around 80F, which is close to where I wanted it to be. Its probably capable of getting the soil much hotter, but I have had no need to go higher. I dont believe the product description mentions it, but the controller display is also a thermometer, that shows actual soil temp. Not sure how accurate it is, but most seed starting temps arent all that precision. If exact soil temp is a concern, you might want to invest in a precision dedicated soil thermometer to verify. Also the description says the mat accommodate one seed flat? My 20x20 will actually accommodate two standard flats, which is why I bought this one instead of one of the small 20x10 mats that are offered on Amazon.
