Greater than one weekI returned the first one for a replacement and the replacement does the same thing. I will have to use duct tape to get it to stay. All the other heaters I have bought are nearly impossible to remove. Not this one.

05-06-2025My gecko has done AMAZING since switching to this heater! Very good coverage and the added temp switch is a GREAT touch. Its insane that for this pricing it is BETTER than the high dollar tank heaters.

> 3 dayI bought the 8x12 for a 20gallon terrarium that houses my leopard geckos. For the price, this mat does a good job or at least what I needed it to do. I would not recommend using it by itself during the winter months but when used in conjunction with a day time & night time heat bulb it keeps the tank at around 87 on the hot spot side. I cleaned the underside of the tank before placing & had no issues with adhesion.

> 3 dayI bought this for a 10 gallon tank with a tarantula. It’s never been over 74 degrees but that’s fine for what I need it for

> 3 dayI got this because the heating pad I bought at the local pet store was awful. This was the size it advertised and heats up quicker than the ZooMed brand that I had before. You should get a thermostat to go with it or it can burn your animals. My only beef with it is that the adhesive isnt the most effective. I had to secure a couple of the corners with aluminum tape, but thats a quick and easy fix. Its keeping my snake nice and warm (but not too hot with the thermostat. Theyre expensive but vital for good pet care).
