Greater than one weekIve only been using this for about 24 hrs out of the box. But, so far, Im pleased with the products construction and function. The red LED control display is bright and sharp. I followed the instructions supplied with the controller and I had my temperature set point set up in just seconds. My seed starting table is in a basement area thats around 60 degrees ambient. With an 85 deg. set point, the mat has brought my soil temperature up to around 80F, which is close to where I wanted it to be. Its probably capable of getting the soil much hotter, but I have had no need to go higher. I dont believe the product description mentions it, but the controller display is also a thermometer, that shows actual soil temp. Not sure how accurate it is, but most seed starting temps arent all that precision. If exact soil temp is a concern, you might want to invest in a precision dedicated soil thermometer to verify. Also the description says the mat accommodate one seed flat? My 20x20 will actually accommodate two standard flats, which is why I bought this one instead of one of the small 20x10 mats that are offered on Amazon.

> 3 dayI use an ink bird thermostat set to 90 for my ball python and it never gets over 79 and its the exact same size as the reptitherm it replaced that was always able to maintain temperature. Do not waste your money on this crappy product because you will have to buy another quality heat mat and waste your time returning this piece of junk.

Greater than one weekThis works fine as long as you use the thermostat with it. I actually found with my temp gun (HIGHLY recommended using one of these to double check everything) that it was initially running a little warmer than the probe indicated. Once I took the very ineffective suction cup off and heat taped it near the mat, that fixed the issue. Just keep a close eye on that. The one really crap thing about this mat is the adhesive. It stuck, I kid you not, maybe 10 seconds. The good news is that its extremely easy and cheap to pick up some HVAC tape and stick it back on. For the price, this is just fine. Ive made it work wonderfully for my ball python enclosure.

> 3 dayAppears to be well made, keeps accurate tempurature, the only negative is the adhesion, I meticulously cleaned the glass, and only about 80% of the adhesive pad stuck to the glass does not appear to affect the operation of the pad.
