> 24 hourI bought this for myself and my 10yo enjoyed it so much I had to get him one as well! Very stable and smooth riding. Perfect for beginners and old folks like me. Very easy to turn, even for my son who is about 5’ tall. I tightened the trucks just a bit after it arrived but have not touched it otherwise. We’ve been using both boards for a few months now and no issues. Highly recommend!

> 24 hourIm absolutely in love with this board! I was a little skeptical at first because of the cheap price and those few reviews the warn you not to be fooled by the positive reviews, but I took a chance and bought it anyway. Ive seen some reviews about how this board breaks during trick attempts, but that doesnt affect me because I just like to cruise around anyway. Ive only had it 3 days and have ridden about 5 miles so far, and it seems to be holding up just fine. I originally bought a Kryptonics board because of the price, but I soon realized that was a mistake because the ride was too stiff and when i loosened the trucks it just made the whole ride feel unsafe. Thats not a problem with this board, I rode it straight out of the box and havent looked back since. If youre debating on which board to buy then stop debating and buy this one. You wont regret it.

> 24 hourOverall a great product! Specially for beginners who want to go slow & people of low weight. I’m 93 lbs and turning on this is easier than on my last one. It’s springy too. I’m going pretty slow even with powerful kicks so I do need to change the bearings but i dont want to go too fast at this point anyways so it’s working for me. It’s a good board for the price. I dont think it will break anytime soon. Seems very sturdy. Great for winter cruising.

> 24 hourIve been riding this longboard nearly every day for a couple months. Im in my early 30s and this is the first longboard Ive had, and it was a good choice. The price is great, the board looks and feel good too. I absolutely love the fish design in the grip tape. I can carve on the streets and Ive been using this to commute a mile or so into downtown Boise. I generally take the sidewalks, but I also will ride on the streets when its smooth. I have to say long boarding is quite fun (and a good workout!). Ive been using this board as training until I get an electric Boosted Board, but its so much fun Ill probably keep it even when I dont have to push anymore. The only bad thing Ive noticed about the board is I think maybe the bearings are a little slow? I had some fellow long boarders pass me the other day. Makes me wonder if I should upgrade to some ceramic bearings. Other then that I really enjoy it.

> 24 hourIve waited two months before writing this review because I wanted to see how this board would hold up. Some background information, Ive never had any skating experience prior to this board. I first got this board because I wanted to get around my universitys campus faster. I bought this board not knowing what to expect. Currently, I take my board with me everywhere I go and ride it around to all my classes. Id say I use this board at least 6 days a week and ride on it at least thirty minutes to an hour for all of those days. The board comes with surprisingly good wheels and bearings (although I recommend using a tool to tighten or loosen the wheels because mine came a little too tight). I bought an extra set of better wheels and bearings because I expected the ones that came with the board to be poor; however, in comparison, the ones that come with the board are just little worse than the others I bought. The trucks on the board have held up just fine. The art pattern/design still looks the same since day one, and the shape of the board makes it super easy to carve and make really sharp turns. Lastly, the board itself is sturdy and well made. Ive had many crashes and wipe outs which I believed would leave huge scars on my board or make something come loose, but to my surprise, the board still remains intact with minimal damage. To summarize, the quality of this board has exceeded my expectations and it gets me around campus quickly every day. I would highly recommend this board to anyone who is looking for a board just to cruise around places like a college campus. Since this is also my first longboard, I would also recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting into longboarding.

> 24 hourI ordered the board after seeing a few videos on YouTube featuring electric skateboards for fun and transportation. I was extremely interested, but hadnt skated since I was a teenager, I had no idea if I could even do it, or if I would even like it once I did. (This was when the boards were closer to $60 than $120). I loved the thing. Its been great fun, a fantastic way to get around. I wouldnt recommend the board to experienced skaters, but to find out if you can do it, or like it, you can find out without breaking the bank. And since all the components are typical, i can replace them one-at-a-time as I wear them out or outgrow their quality. I added massive wheels (95-110mm) for extra stability, and had to cut notches in the deck to accommodate them, but its been pretty great. I mistook the trucks for plastic at first but when I scratched one, I did notice that they are a powder coated metal. Picture evidence attached. I wouldnt buy another one, Ive grown past it, BUT for a first board, not sure I would stick with the activity, it was perfect, and Id recommend it for that purpose all day long

> 24 hourIts been almost 18 months since I gave this board to my then 12 yr old daughter for xmas. She asked for a longboard and gave me no other details because she didnt know any: she had been riding her cousins board, and this is what prompted her to ask for her own. And I dont ride skateboards myself (when I fall off a board, I prefer for there to be water rather than concrete beneath me). After doing a bit on reading online, I determined that a drop-through was the way to go because of the enhanced stability inherent to that design; I also concluded that bearings are pretty inexpensive to upgrade, so if the time came that my daughter was proficient enough to want more speed that could easily be accomplished via better bearings, wheels, and maybe even trucks, but for the time being, wheels that didnt spin too fast were actually a virtue. All of that was what I got with this board: a very solid, stable deck that is still extremely easy to turn, but with pretty slow wheels/bearings. And just as Id envisioned, this wasnt a bad thing for a young beginner. My daughter got pretty decent on the board; despite a couple of good spills about six months later she was bugging me for upgrades to be able to go faster, so we installed a basic set of Reds trucks and wheels, just about doubling the glide with a couple pushes. Another benefit of the upgraded trucks was that I was able to torque them down and make the board more stable without much loss of turning radius, as for whatever reason, this deck just turns well no matter what kind of wheels are on it. So if youre looking for a competition level, downhill racing board, this is not the one for you. On the other hand though, if you want something solid and stable to learn on, this board is the perfect choice. For >$50 more, you can upgrade it into a very respectable commuter/mid-level board.

> 24 hourFor a first time cruising board, this is full of potential. The only real letdown is the bearings; none were amazing on my board, but some were better than others. Still, $15 for some decent bearings vastly improved the glide, but if youre doing really short trips around a small-ish college campus, you might not notice. The trucks are okay - not bad, certainly not great either, just middle of the road, probably not worth upgrading unless you really get into longboarding. If you loosen them up they provide enough flex for decent carving without being noisy, which is about as much as you could ask for. The wheels are also fine; pretty soft, but still quick enough and good for rolling over most stones, cracks, and seams youll find in/on pavement or concrete. The one standout is the deck - its a decent maple ply with a nice combination of flex and rigidity. Its slight concave shape isnt too shallow or too deep, kind of just right for providing a comfortable amount of grip. The choice of geometric designs and solid colors all look good (I went with the teal and salmon color low-rider influenced chevron and pinstripes) and the screen printing is done well. After a few months the design has held up well and Im sure it will age nicely, too. The grip tape is good and its nice having the white outline drawing on top, though Im not sure why its a whale. Still, looks good, doesnt hold on to dirt too badly, serves its purpose. The 40 length is a nice compromise for making most turns and feeling not-twitch while cruising. Honestly, if they just sold the deck Id be into that. For $40-50, its a hard to beat for a starter board. One thing I dislike was that they installed the trucks while the board was still covered in plastic shrink wrap. Not a huge deal, and retaining the plastic it does admittedly protect the printed design during shipping, but it means you have to take the trucks off to get absolutely all the plastic out that gets trapped between the truck and the deck. I rode it like that for a while but it bothered me - most people probably wont care, though. Overall, really solid package, so long as you dont mind getting your board from China (Volador is a nice-sounding brand name, but it still comes from Shanghai Biong Industrial, Ltd., sooooo....).

> 24 hourFirst time skating, so I really cannot compare this to any other board, but as a product in general its not a bad buy for $70 (The price has changed daily since I had bought it). I actually received two of these boards, because the first one was unfase to ride as one of the wheels would not stay on. Normally this would be an easy fix, as I should be able to just tighten the nut that keeps the wheel in place, however there was some problem with the wheel or the truck that would not allow the nut to be secured. They sent me a replacement board after a day or two of negotiation. It must be noted that both packages were in pretty bad shape, with the second package looking as if it had been opened mid transit. The product itself is simple, and the design is great. It comes covered in a plastic bag, and has plastic wrap around the deck. The problem with this, is the wrap is difficult to remove around the trucks, as it was put on the deck before the trucks were fastened. It came pretty loose, but a couple turns with a skate tool fixed that, as the trucks had standard sized nuts. Great product, alright company.
