> 3 dayThe board arrived on time, just like the seller had promised. One wheel was not a smooth as the other 3, but it was an easy fix - just ride the board as is. A youtuber had mentioned that sometimes new boards are not smooth straight out of the box but loosen/get better with a few runs around the block. I have ridden my board for atleast an hour for 3 days now and its so smooth. Since l have ridden any other board before, l cannot offer comparisons. I just wonder what an expert level board feels like in comparison to this entry-level board which has already blown my mind. I am 35 and have never skated before and after reading reviews and watching a lot of youtube videos, l made the decision to get the VOLADOR 42inch Freeride Longboard cruiser. I have had no skating experience whatsoever, but getting on this board has rewarded me with such amazing pleasure - child like pleasure, totally displacing the fear of falling l had.

> 3 dayGood for a beginner ‘s, as I myself am. I am by no means an expert, still very much a novice so I can’t speak to the nuances of the board. But even as a beginner I can tell that the stress fractures forming Where the trucks attach to the board speak to the quality of the board itself. I’ve had the board for maybe two months now and have strictly used it on a tennis court outside my home as I learned how to balance and turn in maneuver, for the first month and 3/4. I have only taken it on a path, a paved pathway three times for a total of about 6 miles. Still far from putting major even moderate wear and tear on the board and the stress fractures have surfaced. Now i got the board for 40 bucks on Amazon warehouse so I’m not complaining but if I paid the full price I might be irritated

Greater than one weekMy daughter is going off to college in the fall to California. While she was visiting there she saw lots of longboarders on the campuses and figured she had to have one, so we embarked on doing a ton of online research and arrived at the Volador Freeride Longboard. Given the circumstances of her being a new rider, and being value conscious consumers, we concluded that the Volador was a good choice. It has good all-around components. The bearings are ABEC9, meaning theyre manufactured to exacting tolerances. The trucks are 40 degree, meaning they are amateur friendly and arent going to be overly twitchy at speed. The wheels are 78A, meaning they arent too soft that they wear out fast and not too slow to accelerate. Theyre neither so hard that youre going to feel every imperfection in the tarmac and lack grip. In other words, all the components seem very well matched for both the board and the rider. So we get the board and start bombing down our driveway! Well, not right away, but we (meaning I) got there by the end of the day. In the meantime my teenager daughter, 10 year old son, and I took turns on the board and all had such a great time, that we all decided we each needed to get our own board. The board is a lot of fun and a great value! $70 seemed like a lot of money to me at first, but it seems like a bargain now! I have since continued my research (because my daughter will no longer allow my heavy, risk-taking self on her board) going into skate shops and I cannot say I can tell a difference between this Volador and boards costing up to $200. I have every expectation that the board will hold up and provide years of service. Time will tell of course, but for now, I have to give it 5 stars for initial overall service, value, and performance!

> 3 dayI’ve been using for a month almost every day and it’s been great so far. I bought it as a cheap replacement for my board that I couldn’t take abroad but I was pleasantly surprised with the flex of the board. Turning is very easy as well, even at the first try. The only thing that scared me on the moment is that the screws of the trucks were almost totally gone after a few hours riding. Might be careful with that when receiving the board, but with a t tool it shouldn’t be a problem. Anyway, great board for the low price and cruising around !

> 3 dayI ordered the board after seeing a few videos on YouTube featuring electric skateboards for fun and transportation. I was extremely interested, but hadnt skated since I was a teenager, I had no idea if I could even do it, or if I would even like it once I did. (This was when the boards were closer to $60 than $120). I loved the thing. Its been great fun, a fantastic way to get around. I wouldnt recommend the board to experienced skaters, but to find out if you can do it, or like it, you can find out without breaking the bank. And since all the components are typical, i can replace them one-at-a-time as I wear them out or outgrow their quality. I added massive wheels (95-110mm) for extra stability, and had to cut notches in the deck to accommodate them, but its been pretty great. I mistook the trucks for plastic at first but when I scratched one, I did notice that they are a powder coated metal. Picture evidence attached. I wouldnt buy another one, Ive grown past it, BUT for a first board, not sure I would stick with the activity, it was perfect, and Id recommend it for that purpose all day long

> 3 dayI tried to buy a longboard that was similar to the one I previously had and this one was perfect! It turns nicely and feels very smooth and strong. I highly recommend it for someone who’s an experienced beginner or a little intermediate. I don’t think it’s great for a newbie though.

Greater than one weekI got this board for myself as a beginner long-boarder. I love the board but the graphic on the bottom is a bit more pixelated than shown. Doesn’t take away from the performance of the board though

Greater than one weekI was not given a discount or a free board for this review. Im new to long boarding and have never really rode except for a Ripstick, but who counts that? The board is flexible but not to the point that it will snap like the other board have. In my opinion it will only snap if youre messing around or pushing its limits. All around though I love it and recommend it to anyone that is also new to long boarding. Ps the bearings are really nice for their price. UPDATE: I had been riding my friends board and felt so good about the board I wrote a review after I ordered my board. Ive changed the review because I ordered mine but it came in blue when I clearly ordered green. Two colors hard to mix up. I was super excited when I got it but as soon as I saw the blue almost all the hype went away. But other than that awesome board. Last the grip tape is not mirrored and so I have to flip the board to show the other side. My friends grip tape and back decal do line up how they should. Ps I dont plan on returning it because I love the board that much.

> 3 dayMy 10 year old bought this for her first longboard. Overall it’s pretty good, but had to mark it down a star because 1 wheel had a 1/4” chunk taken out of it but it’s in the sidewall so no effect on the ride and I highly doubt these are abec7 bearings. Other daughters more expensive boards have ABEC 7 and these ones are not as smooth. It’s fine for a 10 year old learner and maybe the lesser bearing keeps her a bit slower anyway. Didn’t contact the seller cause not worth getting a new board since she will bang it up anyway and she likes it. For the money and a learner it’s a good board to buy.

> 3 day4 stars. The trucks were mounted on the board on top of the shrink-wrap which was annoying because me being a perfectionist had to take them off, fully remove the plastic, and then re-mount them. The board is great though. Once I was done with thats initial set up, I had a chance to take it around my neighborhood. It is a very smooth and easy ride. Very easy to turn on this board! As for the bearings, I think I may replace them so I can roll and coast for longer distances. The wood is not entirely smooth in all areas, however the grip tape looks and is phenomenal. Overall the board is great for the money spent on this, just wish they could have shrink-wrapped it after the trucks were already mounted. Update: the bearings on this board are not good at all. As soon as I replaced the bearings with reds bearings, instant difference. The wheels spun for about 5-10 seconds with the original bearings and about 30 seconds to 1 minute with the new ones. Definitely recommend replacing them.
