> 3 dayI’ve never longboarded in my life and I picked it up so easily with the stability of this board. I know some boards slip very easily and flex a lot but this board had the perfect balance to help me learn quickly and safely. The wheels move so smoothly and I barely feel the bumps on the sidewalk/road I ride on. 100% recommend for beginners or pros. All over an amazing board.

> 3 dayI am giving this product a five star review not because it is the best longboard out there but because it is a great longboard for the money paid. This is my first longboard and I have been riding it for several months now. It showed up on time and was packaged adequately. The board is plenty long to be stable for first time users and the trucks feel very stable. This board is not incredibly fast right out of the box but it is quick enough to get around. I mostly use this board for transportation and have had no issues thus far. The white wheels will get dirty pretty quick but besides that the board is holding up very well and I have been using it daily for close to two months now. I did pay full price for this product and was not paid to write this review. I highly recommend this board to anyone that is either looking into getting a cheap longboard or someone that is unsure if they are interested or not.

> 3 daywhen it first arrived and i opened it for the first time i thought oh no this may have been too big and maybe it wouldve been better if i have gotten the penny nickel 27 inch board or a regular skateboard 31 inch and that i should just return it. so i tried to just hop on it inside my house and gave it a shot, boy was i wrong. this board was freaking awesome!!! i dont know if it was because this is my first time riding a skateboard in general and the adrenaline just kicked in but what i can definitely say about this board it is definitely smooth and comfortable. there was and is no way i can return it as i grown to love it within the past 2 hours (haha) this is definitely a great board ^_______^ i bought this board along with a 21 inch board for my friend as me and her plan on skating for the first time this winter break :)

> 3 dayFor a first time cruising board, this is full of potential. The only real letdown is the bearings; none were amazing on my board, but some were better than others. Still, $15 for some decent bearings vastly improved the glide, but if youre doing really short trips around a small-ish college campus, you might not notice. The trucks are okay - not bad, certainly not great either, just middle of the road, probably not worth upgrading unless you really get into longboarding. If you loosen them up they provide enough flex for decent carving without being noisy, which is about as much as you could ask for. The wheels are also fine; pretty soft, but still quick enough and good for rolling over most stones, cracks, and seams youll find in/on pavement or concrete. The one standout is the deck - its a decent maple ply with a nice combination of flex and rigidity. Its slight concave shape isnt too shallow or too deep, kind of just right for providing a comfortable amount of grip. The choice of geometric designs and solid colors all look good (I went with the teal and salmon color low-rider influenced chevron and pinstripes) and the screen printing is done well. After a few months the design has held up well and Im sure it will age nicely, too. The grip tape is good and its nice having the white outline drawing on top, though Im not sure why its a whale. Still, looks good, doesnt hold on to dirt too badly, serves its purpose. The 40 length is a nice compromise for making most turns and feeling not-twitch while cruising. Honestly, if they just sold the deck Id be into that. For $40-50, its a hard to beat for a starter board. One thing I dislike was that they installed the trucks while the board was still covered in plastic shrink wrap. Not a huge deal, and retaining the plastic it does admittedly protect the printed design during shipping, but it means you have to take the trucks off to get absolutely all the plastic out that gets trapped between the truck and the deck. I rode it like that for a while but it bothered me - most people probably wont care, though. Overall, really solid package, so long as you dont mind getting your board from China (Volador is a nice-sounding brand name, but it still comes from Shanghai Biong Industrial, Ltd., sooooo....).

> 3 dayFirst time skating, so I really cannot compare this to any other board, but as a product in general its not a bad buy for $70 (The price has changed daily since I had bought it). I actually received two of these boards, because the first one was unfase to ride as one of the wheels would not stay on. Normally this would be an easy fix, as I should be able to just tighten the nut that keeps the wheel in place, however there was some problem with the wheel or the truck that would not allow the nut to be secured. They sent me a replacement board after a day or two of negotiation. It must be noted that both packages were in pretty bad shape, with the second package looking as if it had been opened mid transit. The product itself is simple, and the design is great. It comes covered in a plastic bag, and has plastic wrap around the deck. The problem with this, is the wrap is difficult to remove around the trucks, as it was put on the deck before the trucks were fastened. It came pretty loose, but a couple turns with a skate tool fixed that, as the trucks had standard sized nuts. Great product, alright company.

> 3 dayI like this board, I have another VOLADOR and I think they are great boards, especially for their price. I weigh about 190 LBS and it has no problems with fractures or turning at all! I gave this 4 stars for a reason (maybe 2): when looking at the boards, they are altogether seeming that all youre doing is picking out the design, when in reality the sizes are different with the different design patterns. Secondly, it says 40 inch when at the bottom it specifically says 38 inches. Im not really upset at the size of the board, but I am pretty aggravated because I love my 42 inch VOLADOR so much, I wanted to get the exact same size, just a different pattern, and Im even gonna buy another one in a couple days. Im writing this review because these boards are fantastic, i just feel like i was mislead during the process of choosing the pattern. Ill still be ordering more of them, I just hope this allows the process for people in the future to not have this same issue, and just tell me its 38 inches when it clearly says it at the bottom

Greater than one weekWas a little jittery and wobbly as if the board was warped, but it’s pretty good after riding it for a while.

> 3 dayIve been riding this longboard nearly every day for a couple months. Im in my early 30s and this is the first longboard Ive had, and it was a good choice. The price is great, the board looks and feel good too. I absolutely love the fish design in the grip tape. I can carve on the streets and Ive been using this to commute a mile or so into downtown Boise. I generally take the sidewalks, but I also will ride on the streets when its smooth. I have to say long boarding is quite fun (and a good workout!). Ive been using this board as training until I get an electric Boosted Board, but its so much fun Ill probably keep it even when I dont have to push anymore. The only bad thing Ive noticed about the board is I think maybe the bearings are a little slow? I had some fellow long boarders pass me the other day. Makes me wonder if I should upgrade to some ceramic bearings. Other then that I really enjoy it.
