This was for my 11 year old daughter whos 53 and needed to upgrade the board she was borrowing to learn. Worked perfect for her and she has made great improvements since using this board. Thanks

I got this board for myself as a beginner long-boarder. I love the board but the graphic on the bottom is a bit more pixelated than shown. Doesn’t take away from the performance of the board though

I left 5 stars because the product is great. However, Amazons ability to properly package products has drastically gone downhill. The board was in a large box, face down with one sheet of packing paper on top of it. Front edge of board was scraped up due to improper packaging.

This is my first board Ive purchased for myself. Im really liking the experience of boarding down a huge hill even though Ive fallen from death wobbles a couple times. My friends have loosened the trucks for me noting that Im about 133 lbs and not heavy. Also, having shorter legs at 52, the length of this board gives me ample room to have a comfortable wide stance when riding. Others that are taller than me and range in weights from 165-220 have said: -They would replace the trucks -The board itself is too bendy for them due to their weight -The bearings are uneven (or something like that... I dont remember) Overall, this board is a great fit for me as a lighter weight person and a beginner!

I bought this longboard as a beginner and had to save up for it! It arrived at my doorstep on a Thursday and I didnt notice it until the next morning when I left the house to walk my pet chicken, Sally. I was sooo excited that I accidentally scared Sally and woke up my neighbors. Anyways, the packaging was neat and the longboard itself deserves a 5-star review.

DEFINITELY will buy another one again some day for my sister. Bought one for myself and i learned how to long board with this! I dont do any crazy boarding with this but after a year of going over some hills, I can say with confidence that this long board is smooth to ride on, stable, comfortable, easy to learn skateboarding/longboarding with, AND LOOKS AMAZING. Im happy about this purchase. Im 6 ft 2, 210 pounds. I was riding this no problem even when i was 220 pounds! Feels solid and I love this board!!!! EDIT: Still a great board. been using this for more than a year now! Not daily, but when I need it, it rides great!

I’ve been using for a month almost every day and it’s been great so far. I bought it as a cheap replacement for my board that I couldn’t take abroad but I was pleasantly surprised with the flex of the board. Turning is very easy as well, even at the first try. The only thing that scared me on the moment is that the screws of the trucks were almost totally gone after a few hours riding. Might be careful with that when receiving the board, but with a t tool it shouldn’t be a problem. Anyway, great board for the low price and cruising around !

It is a great board but the wheels are definitely for starting out. Youre going to want to replace them

My daughter is going off to college in the fall to California. While she was visiting there she saw lots of longboarders on the campuses and figured she had to have one, so we embarked on doing a ton of online research and arrived at the Volador Freeride Longboard. Given the circumstances of her being a new rider, and being value conscious consumers, we concluded that the Volador was a good choice. It has good all-around components. The bearings are ABEC9, meaning theyre manufactured to exacting tolerances. The trucks are 40 degree, meaning they are amateur friendly and arent going to be overly twitchy at speed. The wheels are 78A, meaning they arent too soft that they wear out fast and not too slow to accelerate. Theyre neither so hard that youre going to feel every imperfection in the tarmac and lack grip. In other words, all the components seem very well matched for both the board and the rider. So we get the board and start bombing down our driveway! Well, not right away, but we (meaning I) got there by the end of the day. In the meantime my teenager daughter, 10 year old son, and I took turns on the board and all had such a great time, that we all decided we each needed to get our own board. The board is a lot of fun and a great value! $70 seemed like a lot of money to me at first, but it seems like a bargain now! I have since continued my research (because my daughter will no longer allow my heavy, risk-taking self on her board) going into skate shops and I cannot say I can tell a difference between this Volador and boards costing up to $200. I have every expectation that the board will hold up and provide years of service. Time will tell of course, but for now, I have to give it 5 stars for initial overall service, value, and performance!
