> 3 dayHave used Webroot for years. I do wish they gave more clear info on what each product offers and doesnt. The CD came in a folded cardboard from Webroot, and sealed on one side. It didnt come in the customary sealed plastic box where the license is hidden. Instead, the license number could be easily seen by slightly opening the bottom unsealed part of the folded cardboard. The instructions for install were incorrect. Finally, we decided to uninstall the current version. After that, the install was quick and easy. Webroot doesnt slow down the computer like some anti-virus does. Once you learn it, the program more or less just runs itself, which is convenient.

> 3 dayI really like Webroot. Used it for 4-5 years, now. Amazon is the cheapest price that I could find.. But dont install it until you have used up all the time on your current subscription, otherwise you will lose those days.

> 3 dayI purchased a renewal subscription from Amazon and was waiting for the prior year subscription to expire. I was in the process of preparing important documents regarding sale of a building. All of a sudden my screen locked up and a web root blue screen gave me a choice of renewing or uninstalling. Even going to task manager and attempting to end the task wouldnt work. I got an error message access denied. I couldnt get out of the blue screen and unfortunately and only a hard reboot of my computer would work which caused me to lose all my unsaved work. All five of my computers locked up the same way. In prior years, you could go to task manager and end the web root task, then proceed to enter your new key code with no need to uninstall. Then try finding a phone number for tech support...good luck. This is a ridiculous way to do business and to treat your customers. A simple message warning you that you need to renew would be sufficient. I can guarantee you Im going to switch antivirus software immediately.

> 3 dayWebroot reminds me of AVG, but is a bit more streamlined. It does its work in the background, and seems to do it very well. I have been a life long Norton user ever since I learned PC-Dos (not ms-dos) from Peter Nortons book (I still have it). Over the past few years I have been getting more and more frustrated with Norton, and did not totally trust AVG, as it was a bit twitchy. So far I am pleased with Webroot after dumping Norton antivirus which was becoming too much work. Windows platforms are hard enough to maintain without having to deal with antivirus software that you constantly have to update and scan, and comes in to load the latest version, that then asks you to send money when your existing version still has over 300 days to go. When doing web searches, Webroot will mark each with trusted, questionable, or no markings to let you know whether or not to go there. Webroot works in the background, and will always come up when you first start your computer to let you know it is working. After many tries to get an answer from webroot, the people on Amazon finally came up with what I asked: YOU CAN USE ANY UN-USED CD IN ANY YEAR which is much like Norton. At under $20.00 for 3 PCs, I really cant find a better deal/software, and at this price, what is stopping you from giving it a try. Addendum: Have been using for 5 or 6 years now, and am very happy, but it does have a tendency to become a bit unstable during the last 30 days of the subscription; hmmmmm, I wonder why?

> 3 daySeach No Further this is all you need in an antivirus. It is non intrusive, installs in 2nds and no nag screens unless you happen to try to go to a suspected unsafe site and it works Great! The price is unbeatable! I have used Webroot for 3 years. Before that I have had AVG, Nortons, and another popular antivirus software that I cant recall the name right at the moment. All those other Software Programs wanted to iinteract with me and bug and nag me at times but not Webroot. It uses little space on your computer and will not slow you down at all. Its great! Great software support also. So save your money unless you just want to give another company your hard earned bucks. Also a tip the price here for 3 users if less than Walmarts.

> 3 dayI dont like to load with a key code. I ordered a disc and it loaded immediately with no trouble. It seems to be working well. The price was good, especially for 3 computers. I had Norton 360 for 3 computers last year. I got it at a nice introductory price . I had no problem with it, but when it was going to renew for another year automatically at about triple the price I decided to shop around. Once Webroot was up and running for awhile I thought I might as well uninstall the Norton antivirus. When I did that it did something to my computer. It would no longer recognize my remote devices, camera and MP3 player. I have extended warranty on my HP computer and they helped me get my computer to recognize them again. I am no computer guru. Im just saying Beware on uninstalling Norton. When I Googled it I read several other people had the same problem. I still have Norton on 2 other computers. It is no longer active, but I intend to just let it sit there.

> 3 dayUnfortunately, I was not able to install this software on my Mac with Apples M1 Chip. At first, it did install, but WebRoot kept saying to update to the latest version of the software -- It wouldnt. I would click on Update to Latest Version and nothing would happen -- no loading, no progress on an update being installed, no confirmation that an update was being updated, etc. Tried it on every which way on the settings within WebRoot. I then uninstalled the entire software from my Mac, and reinstalled it again but the download got stuck on an Authentication technicality. The reinstallation did not work. I had to completely remove the app/software from my Mac. Then I tried to install the software to my two Windows computer, and everything worked out well. I was disappointed because I initially purchased the software for my Mac. Another Con: If you need to install the software on 3 different devices, you will need 3 different emails to download each software on each respective device even though its the same product key code -- so annoying.

> 3 dayWas skeptical. How could this AV program possibly equal or surpass the pricey dicey super-dooper so-called King of the net Norton 360? Well it has. Have saved money without sacrificing security. Have gotten genuine security with minimal bloat ware. Fast. Simple. Yet powerful. VERY pleased. Impressed. Buh-bye Norton. Now I am free to be skeptical of something else. Oh joy. And Webroot has already informed me that it IS compatible with Win 10. (I am now running Malwarebytes and Webroot on two PC s / Win 8.1 and can sleep like a baby)

Greater than one weekI only gave 4 stars because setup was very easy and price was quite good in comparison to other antivirus software, but seem to have to reset settings every time I turn on computer. I have purchased this before and did not have any issues. Would buy again.
