My 2017 renewal was up. After comparing prices for the renewal and purchasing a CD from Amazon, I found that I would save quite a lot by simply ordering a new CD or download. I liked the comfort of having the CD as backup in case anything happens, so I ordered the CD. Since this is Prime eligible, it only took two days to arrive. The set up was a breeze. I entered the key code provided by the CD (printed inside the CD case, appeared sort of like a bar code). Just make sure be patient to wait for the activation process to complete and make sure to enter the correct number or alphabets, sometimes an 8 looks like a B etc. The system would do the rescan after the activation process completed, and it would show me how many days left for the software to expire (365 days). If you dont see any of these happened, that means you have done something incorrect, just do it again step by step.

Webroot Rocks! I was using just the Antivirus but needed more and it was about to expire. So I bought this, easy install and did not have to use the disc. Just go on the webroot console on pc, look for My account. Click the gear next to it, it will say enter new key code. Then click activate, it will upgrade you to internet security complete and you will start another year 5 Devices! Very good software! Fast Scans, Always up to date using the cloud. You Never have to click Update! NICE! Windows defender is cloud based but you still have to click update. This is Real Time software and Identity Protection ! NICE!

Slower than my previous software (Norton). I should have stick with Norton. WEBROOT is a very suspicious security software scam. Never once has it find and remove even a single virus which is very unusual even with the best of the best security software. I dont trust WEBROOT. Stay away from it. Highly suspicious to be a scam. In addition my, computer is now slower. Im going to pay for Norton and override this crap even though my subscription is still about ten months to expire.

I installed this on two Windows based computers with relative ease. However, when I attepted to install it on a Mac, it would not install after many attempts. Each time, despite carefully entering the Keycode, it kept telling me I had the wrong keycode, then it would continue the installation, followed by starting a scan (so obviously I did not have the wrong keycode), then a Threat Detect message popped up which was quickly covered by a window telling me I had the wrong key code. The app would then terminate. I telephoned the support number given by Webroot in response to other negative reviews, and I was told the wait time would be a rediculous 45 minutes. This means that they either do not have a sufficient number of support people to provide meaningful support, or there are so many problems with the software that Webroot is simply overwhelmed. I also suspect that many if not all of the 5-star reviews were directly or indirectly writtem by Webroot. You may have read that this has become a real problem with Amazon reviews. In fact they just filed suit against a company whose only business is being hired by companys like Webroot to provide positive reviews of their products. The company charges a specific fee for each positive rerview. If these were real reviews, one would expect to see reviews covering a range of star ratings. But here, with the exception of two 4-star reviews and the many one-star reviews by real reviewers, all of the ratings are 5-star. This just does not smell legitimate.

Solid product, my 2nd year buying it. Buy one of these instead of renewing. Cheaper and simple restarts or extends existing service

Delivery of the order was completed in a timely manner. I have used the program for over four years and found this latest version to be as good as the first time I used it.The scans are fast,the footprint of the program is small and doesnt gobble up a lot of disc space.Threat detection is quick and effective as is the virus removal process.The virus definitions file is in thecloud so they are always up to date.That feature is is a big plus for folks who forget to update before scanning for viruses or are not very computer oriented.My 93 year old father in law loves it.For those who want to be more technical you can customize the scan and protection settings rather than use the default settings.

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to purchase one of the few remaining BRAND NEW Windows 7 laptops direct from the manufacturer (a Toshiba Satellite C50). I was researching antivirus and anti-malware programs because I did not want to settle for a Norton 30-day trial. The usual suspects (Norton, McAfee, etc.) just would not do most users justice due to bad tech support, bloating, etc. Then I read about Webroot SecureAnywhere, and was quite impressed by users reactions after using the product. After validating my Windows 7 and Microsoft Office for the first time, I immediately put the CD-ROM into my laptop; the installation had taken no more than 2-3 minutes tops. The scan time is super fast and takes effect once every 24 hours, even with my computer off! (I just checked the results of my last scan; duration was only 15 seconds!) When I use Google and look through the results, I get colored circles telling me about the risks, etc. Once, I attempted to download a game demo, but Webroot saved me from possible malware! (It found suspected malware and got rid of the problem in just seconds! I ran another full scan afterwards just to be safe.) Overall, I am glad that I purchased this utility. Even if youve never heard of Webroot, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you purchase this program for your computer, new or old! Amazon always has a great deal on this program, too, so please add this to your cart!

This is the third year using this product and very satisfied with the software Fast and doesnt take up to much space. My only caution is tho make sure you know what you are buying and where it is from. This review is for the Secure Anywhere Internet Security Complete.for 5 Devices Last year,I had a problem when purchased this. I received an incorrect software.- Internet Security for 3 Devices. Not realizing, I installed it and then found out something wasnt right because is showed as an Antivirus software. Amazon was great to help me rectify the situation and I received the correct software. Make sure you read the fine print as, I tried to uninstall the incorrect software but could not remove the key code. Webroot tells me that this code belongs to a Webroot software sold by Best Buy and I would have to contact Best Buy to get this removed. Well Best Buy wants a fee to remove a product that they sell. Go figure.

I wouldve given it 4 starts. Easy to use, relatively light weight, seems to have kept me secure.(for 11 months) HOWEVER, with a little more than a month left on my subscription it began extremely invasive behaviors, endless pop ups to renew, constant warning signs and a grayed out menu bar icon. Now with 23 days left on my subscription it has crippled my VPN not allowing me to connect until I had to close down my VPN. Now I am hanging out in the wind with ZERO Protection. AGAIN, over 3 weeks left on my subscription. BTW- the renewal rate they are forcing me to sign up with is $79.99 a year!!!! I submitted a ticket on their online support page. I got an email back stating it will be 48 HOURS before I can expect a reply. Called their phone support number. After 5 minutes of recorded announcement describing all the various ways I can go screw off rather than get real support, they finally announce that my wait for an online agent will be at least 25 minutes. Not sure what happened to Webroot?!?! I called the customer service number given to re-subscribe and after describing my problem was given the advice to uninstall the app. I asked, you mean and go to another company????.....Yes. I said thanks and goodbye. Goodbye Webroot.
