First I liked the price--upgraded to best package for a lot less than webroot would renew the package I had been using. Webroot offended me with their aggressive renew threats where they tried to force me to renew or uninstall before my subscription was out. It was relatively easy to uninstall and install new program on win7 and even easier on win10.

Thought I could just enter new keycode and that would be it. I had to totally uninstall the previous webroot before I could use this disk. Was a pain in the ass! But now that its installed all works just as before. Dont know if saving $12 was worth the frustration.

My 2017 renewal was up. After comparing prices for the renewal and purchasing a CD from Amazon, I found that I would save quite a lot by simply ordering a new CD or download. I liked the comfort of having the CD as backup in case anything happens, so I ordered the CD. Since this is Prime eligible, it only took two days to arrive. The set up was a breeze. I entered the key code provided by the CD (printed inside the CD case, appeared sort of like a bar code). Just make sure be patient to wait for the activation process to complete and make sure to enter the correct number or alphabets, sometimes an 8 looks like a B etc. The system would do the rescan after the activation process completed, and it would show me how many days left for the software to expire (365 days). If you dont see any of these happened, that means you have done something incorrect, just do it again step by step.

4th year for using Webroot. Highly recommend. I ignore the Webroot attempts to get you to purchase from them and buy from Amazon. If you activate a new keycode note: you will not lose current subscription time, it simply adds on the new subscription to it. To install it is simple: Open the Webroot window on your desktop, go to My Account and click on the wheel to the right of it. This brings up an open section to enter your NEW KEYCODE, click on Activate below and you are done. If you have the actual software disc which I prefer, you do not have to use it, just the keycode. Several reviews have wrestled with this. Never have had a security issue with this software!

Have used Webroot for five years running. Biggest reason for switching and staying this long has been that it is not very intrusive and does not consume resources and thus slow down the computer. This is the second time i bought from Amazon. Make sure you install it just when your subscription/ coverage is about to end. Otherwise you lose the remaining portion of your existing coverage. I dont recall it was like this the last time i purchased from Amazon. Upon contacting Webroot, I didnt receive any credit/recourse.

Unfortunately this is not getting all the issues. I have malware on my computer that continues to open the internet over and over and using up 99% of the processing locking it up. I now have to seek a professional to take care of the problem

So far so good. After having AVG and Microsoft antivirus software, this was a nice change that was very easy to install with no issues. I recently installed this software, so I will have to give performance feedback at later date, but as far as ease of install I like it the best so far.

Its one of the best AV Ive used. Norton and McAfee are garbage and slow your system terribly; Kaspersky was my choice before Webroot and I immediately recognized significant performance gains using Webroot without a loss in system security after switching from Kaspersky. Kaspersky also STILL prompts with ads even on fully paid/licensed versions.

Most other security software tend to get in the way and slow down te computer, or to take forever to get their updates, or to want constant inputs from the user. Webroot does its job effectively and fast. Any, by the way, it also works with WinXP as well.

Ive had Webroot virus protection for sometime now and am well pleased with the product. I originally got it from the Best But Geek Squad. I was disappointed in the service I was receiving from the GS and wanted to eliminate them from the equation, so I contacted Webroot directly. I was very happy with the Webroot service. The quality of the product and Webroots willingness to help me is why I purchased this software.
