Greater than one weekThought I could just enter new keycode and that would be it. I had to totally uninstall the previous webroot before I could use this disk. Was a pain in the ass! But now that its installed all works just as before. Dont know if saving $12 was worth the frustration.

> 3 dayI have used many security software brands and have been let down throuugh most. I found this one last year after having purchased another brand only two months before, that was supposed to be the best, only to have my computer compromised to the extent it had to have my computer guy take it for a couple of days. This was an expensive experience. Im happy to say Webroot has been a very reliable software that I will keep. That other brand BTW had rave reviews from many sources. It took no time to invade.

> 3 daySuper value - Webroot wanted $49 to renew my service. I let it expire, bought this version, deleted the old one, and voila - - works perfectly. What Webroot doesnt want you to know is that this program is automatically updated VIA the cloud, hence you always have the latest version. Shopping around does pay, and Amazon once again comes through. (Same thing happened last year; Webroot wanted $39 to renew, bought it here for $19.) Many software security programs (i.e. Iolo System Mechanic) allow you to renew at a nominal fee - - like $14.95, but for some reason Webroot wants to take you to the cleaners! Must be a lot of commissioned salespeople in that company . . . .!

> 3 dayIve used Webroot since about 2008 and am very pleased with it. The scans run very quickly and very accurately. I think I actually only ever had one real problem and that was a couple of years ago. Webroot support helped me through it and was able to get my pc back running. I like this version for the multiple device usage. And I use a version on my tablet as well. The only thing I didnt like was their pricing. It was cheaper to buy this hear, wait until my current subscription was about to run out and then update the new keycode and wha-la, I have another year of coverage. And again, I bought it this year (2016) here vs. directly renewing from them because of the price.

07-06-2025Ive been using Webroots product for the last 10 months, and due to the fact that my laptop is still free of any issues is a testament to the effectiveness of this product and my careful web surfing. Im not a digital techy, so I cant give you the nuts and bolts of why this has been working so well. I can tell you that Webroot works so quickly and seamlessly in the background that you have to check now and then that its still engaged. Ive used Norton, McAfee, and Kaspersky over the years and found that they were either memory hogs, or run slowly robbing resources, and sometimes both. What I find frustrating is that online reviews of virus, etc., software are very unreliable, with many of them being overly complimentary while others pan the very same product. How much influence do these software manufacturers have on these sites that accept advertising? Consumer Reports is probably the most trusted source (accepting no advertising), but they didnt include this Webroot product in their last review. Another frustration is that when its time to renew, manufacturers, including this one, start sending reminders at least 60 days in advance of the end of the service period. Their offer for renewal never shows the best price available, so shopping again for the same software online is strongly recommended. I dont have any issue with the product, but the marketing schemes used by these companies is anti-consumer, especially toward their existing customers. Ever felt that way about your cable company or your cell phone provider? Do software manufacturers really want to be lumped with cable companies occupying the bottom of the list of trusted service providers?

> 3 dayI got the CD version. Unfortunately the cd would NOT work. So went online to the website indicated, created account, entered keycode about 1000 times, but could not download. Turns out my windows 10 laptop was in S Mode and would not download anything that wasnt in the Microsoft Store. Pain in the..... So had to figure out how to get out of S mode, which was a trip considering I had no idea what s mode even WAS or that I was even IN S-Mode. Once I figured out how to get out of S-Mode I was able to complete my account and download Webroot Secure Anywhere. Phew!!! I think I screwed around for at least an hour, maybe more, when I thought it was going to be quick and easy. But then again, is anything easy nowadays???? But I checked, and Webroot is installed, and it even did a scan, so I think Im protected. And I can click on it and manually scan if I want. That is SO MUCH BETTER than the Norton I just uninstalled, which I was never ever sure was ever doing anything. Every time I ever tried to click on it to check status, I would just get ads. So in any event, I think I will like Webroot, and hopefully the PTSD from trying to download it will subside eventually!!

> 3 dayIm not sure if its just me, but I find this to not really do much for me. Yes, this internet security does have impressive reviews, which is the reason why Ive gotten it but after the first year, I decided not to renew because I find it to be mininum at best, but thanks to the special on Black Friday I renew the license for another year, and still not that impressed. First thing first, the pro is that it is very light on the system, and alledgedly scan fast. You hardly notice it in the background and it does automatically updates for you. But the problem is when you actually scan it, the commputer lags and slows down and the fan just comes on due to the stress it costs on the computer. I have had multiple instances when the program was scanning my computer with other programs running, my computer crashed. Definitely overrated, but definitely better than some of the other software out there.

> 3 daySeems to do what its supposed to do. Bought it at a substantial discount. There are features that allow you to store things on a remote server aka cloud. I am wondering if when it is time to renew, I will be able to get a sale price again or will my remotely stored files be held for ransom if I dont pay MSRP.

> 3 dayThis is the third year using this product and very satisfied with the software Fast and doesnt take up to much space. My only caution is tho make sure you know what you are buying and where it is from. This review is for the Secure Anywhere Internet Security Complete.for 5 Devices Last year,I had a problem when purchased this. I received an incorrect software.- Internet Security for 3 Devices. Not realizing, I installed it and then found out something wasnt right because is showed as an Antivirus software. Amazon was great to help me rectify the situation and I received the correct software. Make sure you read the fine print as, I tried to uninstall the incorrect software but could not remove the key code. Webroot tells me that this code belongs to a Webroot software sold by Best Buy and I would have to contact Best Buy to get this removed. Well Best Buy wants a fee to remove a product that they sell. Go figure.

> 3 dayEasy to install and, so far, works just like its supposed to. It has a very small footprint on the computer, and Ive had no software conflicts.
