> 24 hourMy sons original drive was corrupted after an update during Covid. We could not get repairs from Sony and were able to purchase this drive so he could play some games. It doesnt hold too many at once and after awhile he had to delete to add but it works well. We are now upgrading to the Terabyte.

> 24 hourTHIS IS NOT A NEW HARD DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!! It is used with 120 bad blocks on HDD after I tested it, Charging a couple dollars less for a used hard drive is not only unethical its a straight up scam. Not only that after doing a scan on the hard drive you can see that there are still pictures and documents that are recoverable from the drive. Selling a drive on a mass market by formatting the data off of a windows computer and then selling it to strangers is not only dangerous, but it leads people to be vulnerable to identity theft.

> 24 hourOnce I backup up my data, dropped this new drive in, formatted drive, ask it to restore my data, boom back to how it was before, love it. going from 60GB to 500gb, oh man thats huge extra space. took the 120gb out of my Slim ps3 and dropped another WD 500gb in there works perfect. These HDD I have dropped into 3 - PS3s and they all have worked perfect, plus very easy to update the PS3 to this new HDD.

> 24 hourThe photo in this item listing depicts a Western Digital Blue HDD. I received a 500GB Western Digital HDD that was not a Western Digital Blue HDD.

> 24 hourI bought an older, backwards compatible, PS3 a while back. The system only came with a 60GB hard drive which is abysmal in 2022 so I bought this hard drive as an upgrade. I didn’t even need to install the system software after changing out the drives. It gave me much more space than I’ll probably ever really need for a PS3. This would easily work for a PS4/Pro as well but I’d argue a 1TB hard drive would be a better upgrade or even getting an SSD for that matter.
