Just what we needed. Very easy to upgrade a PS from stock to 500GB. Make sure you xfer your data or be prepared to play all your games all over again (like us)

I ordered a blue wd drive. Got a black one. Private seller put his own warranty sticker on the new drive. So it was opened. I give the drive 4 years at best. I new drive from western digital does not need a 2 year warranty from private seller. Drive works but sticker is bothersome.

Stated it fit a playstation 3 and it does not. The connection is completely different...

My grandson was very happy this way he can play more games

The blue one you see on the pic, looks like the new version. Mine its the old blue version. So fist think before buy it.

I used this to replace my 2nd generation PS4s internal hard drive. All you need is a USB to download the start up from the official playstation website and a screwdriver.

Wasnt the correct hard drive for the slim PS4 even though it says all models PS3 and PS4
