Western Digital 500GB 2.5 Playstation 3/Playstation 4 Hard Drive (PS3 Fat, PS3 Slim, PS3 Super Slim, PS4)

My son called (who am I kidding..he texted) from college and asked if I could order this for him so he could fix his PlayStation following a YouTube DIY video (and yes, I paid for it with the promise he would clean out the pond for me). Got it fast from the seller and he installed it according to the video..and it WORKED! He was happy college student again...( God, I hope he just graduates on time!)

The product was simple to install, however, something was corrupted within the HDD. Once the system recognized that an HDD had been installed, it stated there was not enough room to transfer less than 12GB of data from the flash drive to the HDD with 500GB of storage. The manufacture date was in 2010, Im not sure if the product could have been damaged in the last 6 years or what the deal was. Sending back tomorrow.

Not the best replacement but it works

This was a great option for my ps4 slim, it was cheap and effective. I highly recommend getting one of these if you need to replace your HDD.

This product was easy to install even though it was a little expensive. It works for my ps4 so It is fine.
