Western Digital 500GB 2.5 Playstation 3/Playstation 4 Hard Drive (PS3 Fat, PS3 Slim, PS3 Super Slim, PS4)

This product was easy to install even though it was a little expensive. It works for my ps4 so It is fine.

Id expected to receive a WDBlue 5200RPM, but got a WDBlack 7200RPM instead, which is perfectly fine for me!

Hardest part was finding which Playstion software to put on thumb drive. Runs so much better now.

Its advertised as a replacement for PS3/PS4 drives, but I was sent a 7200 RPM drive. In consoles, 5400 RPM is better due to less heat generation and the performance benefits of going from 5400 to 7200 are negligible. If I bought this for a laptop or desktop Id think, SCORE, but since the use is for a console a 5400 RPM is the better route for longevity. I initially started the return process but figured the hassle of repackaging and finding a UPS store isnt enticing. For 28 bucks Ill still use it in the console. For 28 bucks, its a fantastic price for what I got and for just about every other application other than tight confines. Overall pleased. If it had been a 5400 RPM, which is better for console use, I would have given 5 instead of 4.

Not terrible for the price, works perfectly in my PS3

This product is fantastic! When I purchased my PS3 it had little to no storage for anything. I looked around and found this, it came quick and with no damage to the box or product. Once I opened the case, the instructions where simple. In about two or three minutes I had it installed and ready to go. Now I can play the games I bought with the system. Would highly recommend for anyone needing storage.

Don’t know much about this stuff but I do know it worked and it was a great price

My son used this to make my laptop work again.
