> 24 hourI received my 4 WP3 smart plugs and attempted to pair them. I first used the automatic pairing, but the process timed out before the pairing was successful. I then tried to add them manually with similar result. I googled the problem (apparently its not uncommon). The FAQ said to test my internet speed which I did and it was found to be acceptable. I was instructed to reset the device by pressing the on/off button for 10 seconds to make sure the light turned green. I pressed it for 10, 20 and 30 seconds and couldnt get it to turn green. I have attempted to contact customer service. The phone lines are only open Mon-Fri from 9-5 (very convenient for the customer!). I have sent an email outlining the issue. If I do not receive a response by the next business day, I will be returning the product as defective. This is pretty abysmal performance for something out of the box.

> 24 hourI could not get the plugs to sync with the app it timed out every time. And these do not go staight though Alexa app you have to download their app first. Before you can connect with Alexa if you can connect the plugs with the app. I wish I could have of at least tested them out, but I will be sending them back.

> 24 hour1st month everything works accordingly and then 2nd come around schedule timer went crazy. The unit will not turned off accordingly. So I deleted and tried to setup a new schedule. Hahaha what a mistake, I wasnt able to save this new schedule. But it was fixed some how. 3rd month, wifi disappear, on the app it says that unit is off but in reality its on. Too many problems and everytime they tried to fix something other things failed.

> 24 hourAfter Installing one of the plug modules, which was very easy by the way, I have to say I very much dislike having China-based software in my home on Alexa and on my cell phone. I do not recommend this product.

> 24 hourUpdate: switches stop working after a few days and I need to keep removing from app and re-pairing them. I turn on lights and within 30 sec-10 minutes lights shut off. This is a troublesome issue. I removed a star due to this development. Cannot put two plugs in same outlet these plugs paired perfectly with Alexa and have been reliable so far. I gave them five stars on everything, except for the fact that you can’t stack one on top of the other in a two outlet socket. Because of that, you reduce the amount of outlets you have in the room. Had they been just slightly smaller I could have put two together.

> 24 hourThey don’t stay connected. Feel super cheap and get hot to touch from only being plugged in for 5 minutes. Waste of money. Don’t do it.

> 24 hourWaste of time purchased another brand that worked perfectly with Alexa without having to install an additional 3rd party evasive application on my phone that required sign up and location services to China.

> 24 hourWe have purchased a number of these smart plugs from another company that are compatible with the Smart Life app. As these were also compatible with the same app, we purchased them. They are absolute failures in two regards: (1) They do not show you on the app whether the light is turned on or off. Given that we value these smart lights most especially when we are on vacation or traveling, having to select every single light in the house to determine whether it is on or off is extremely tedious and annoying. As you can see in the attached photo (this product in the top left corner), other products allow you to see from a simple view of the app whether the light is on or off. This product would require you to individually click on each light to see whether it is on or off. (2) As you can see in the attached photo (top left corner), the other smart sockets/lights we have used allow you to take a photo of the light. This is really nice to quickly know which light you are turning on or off. This product purports to allow you to take a photo, but never allows it to upload. They claim this is a privacy or data concern. I cant imagine what privacy concern there could be when I voluntarily want to take a photo of my own lamp in my own house. We are returning these sockets and I would recommend no one purchase them. Based on these issues, we will be not use this company again and transition away from companies that use this app.
