The setup process was so easy! I used the Gosund app which has auto scan. Once you plug up the mini smart plug and the app is in auto scan it found all of my devices. EASY!! I have a dual WiFi router which uses 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz and the smart plug automatically knew how to connect. (This uses only 2.4ghz) I really loved how simple this process was instead of turning the power on/off to get into a setup mode. To connect Alexa to smart plugs all you need to do is enable the the skill in the Alexa app. Search for the gosund app in skills in Alexa, log in to the gosund account and boom you’re able to use voice to turn on and off devices plugged in. Whatever you name the plug in the gosund app Carries over to Alexa or google smart app. I think the price is great and you can use other plugs in a 2 plug socket so not too big where it blocks other sockets. Theres also a button to manually turn on and off the plug if the internet is out. I removed a star because 3 out of the 4 plugs work…. one is broken. The Seller needs more quality control by testing every unit before it’s ship because one of mine showed up broken and that Sucks. Still would recommend because it’s a good functional smart plug.

I used to prepare me coffee every morning

1st month everything works accordingly and then 2nd come around schedule timer went crazy. The unit will not turned off accordingly. So I deleted and tried to setup a new schedule. Hahaha what a mistake, I wasnt able to save this new schedule. But it was fixed some how. 3rd month, wifi disappear, on the app it says that unit is off but in reality its on. Too many problems and everytime they tried to fix something other things failed.

Seemed to connect ok and set up was straight forward… but I was shocked to see the on/off button does not display in Smart Life app like the many other plugs and switches I use. Only way to know if it’s on or off is to push app button and wait for it to open. I’m used to scanning app quickly to confirm what’s on or off. I returned and do not recommend them.

I tried multiple times to link with my WiFi system. This device wouldn’t link.

Long story short, these work and integrate with both google home and Alexa. It’s not a straight forward setting them up as I feel it should be — it requires the download of an app to activate before you can add the devices to google home or Alexa. Additionally you are *required* to create an account with the company before you can even use them which is quite annoying. I wouldn’t use your main email account for it, but would not use a burner account in the event you forget your password to the app and need to reset it. If it wasn’t for the app/sign up requirement these would get 5 stars. However, the price is decent and they work as advertised.

I recently bought another brand of smart plug and returned them. They were awful (see my review of Esicoo - Frustrating!). These were completely the opposite. So easy to connect and set up, seamless Alexa integration, easy scheduling. Theyre just great, especially for this price. Its only my first day with them, but so far, I am very pleased.
