> 3 dayBought this cause the space heater was too far from the outlet. The old cords would get hot, so decided to go up a gauge. This 12/3 cord is just the ticket. Never gets hot. I wish I could get it in a 30-35 foot length.

> 3 dayONLY ONE END LIGHTS UP, NOT BOTH ENDS! The Amazon TITLE description is incorrect indicating ...lighted ends. It is only one end...as I later found out after returning my first one thinking it was defective. AMAZON, Please fix the title and Ill adjust/delete this review. The extension cord itself is nice. Too bad it isnt lit at both ends though.

> 3 dayI use this for my mig welder when using the 110v plug and it works great. It says its rated for 15 amps but 12/3 wire is fine up to 20 amps at 25, especially for something with a low duty cycle. If you need an extension cord for a welder that pulls no more than 20 amps this will work just fine.

> 3 dayI will admit right away I didnt buy my Yellow Jacket 50 Foot 12/3 15 Amp Extension Cord #2884 on Amazon.com - I bought it at my local Mills Fleet Farm, and it is my second one. I paid the extra money because it performs the way I want it to - its VERY durable, it stays flexible (Ive used my first one at temps -43*F and it has stayed flexible), there is a light in the female end to indicate it is on (very handy), the ones Ive bought have been made in the USA, and there is a Limited Lifetime Warranty (their damage, they pay; your damage, you pay). At the store I confirmed it said Made in USA on the front of the cardboard packaging but when I got this one home, I read the rest of the cardboard packaging and found where it said Made in Indonesia above the UPC Code - interesting, right? The next morning I called Coleman Cable in Waukegan, IL and asked where it was made, and according to the #2884, it was made in Waukegan, IL, and the mistake on the packaging was an oversight at the time, but has been corrected. I read some of the negative reviews regarding where the some of the cords were made, lack of warranty, and not being able to contact Customer Service, so here is their contact info: Coleman Cable Inc. 1530 Shields Drive Waukegan, IL 60085 Tel: (847) 672-2300 Fax: (847) 689-1192 Toll Free: (800) 323-9355 and you can speak to them, too.

Greater than one weekI have burned up electric edgers by having too much voltage drop across a 50 foot 14/3 commercial extension cable. When I ordered a Worx 12 Amp Lawn blower and vacuum I didnt want to take any chances as well as the 50 foot 14/3 was just too short. This thing is heavy and almost exactly looks like my 14/3 cable but thicker. I bought a cable spool thinking it would be big enough for this cable but NOT! All is not lost though since my 50 foot 14/3 fits perfect on it. Also I ordered it from Amazon (not one of their other sellers) since the shipping was free. I finally ordered a 4 cycle commercial grade gas powered trench edger, but had I had this cable Id still have my electric trench edger.
